24.01.2022 M I S S Y Today we farewelled our beautiful junkyard cat Missy. She has been a beautiful guard cat for over 16 years. 6 of them with us. ... Missy could be found riding around on the forklift! Working on the sorting bench and curled up in the tearoom every day. Every now and then she liked to jump on to customers trays to inspect their loads. She loved pressing up the cardboard with the boys too. RIP Missy.

23.01.2022 It has been awhile since I posted on my page. We have been doing a constant juggle and have now began to level out. You will notice a few changes at the yard. Norm and a few helpers have created a very organised space! It really catches the eye when you see it. ... With the recycling industry in such an unpredictable space we have made a few hard decisions. Firstly, we can no longer accept Co-mingled recycling. (What is that? I’ll pop a picture up to explain!) we do still take your milk bottle, clear soft drink & juice bottles, aluminum cans, steel cans, paper, cardboard, twine, scrap metal, white goods etc. The Ecoswish shop has been still there but very neglected but I’m getting there again. We also welcomed Rob O’Toole to the team and he has been an asset to us and enabling our business to thrive and grow. Well done Rob we are so grateful for all that you do for us. Cheers Norm & Kim

05.01.2022 Thank you to all those that continue to support our business. The challenges over the past few years with the recycling industry have had a huge impact on us. We have made some adjustments and are disappointed that we can not accept all the products that we used to but we do hope that things may turn around again. ... We are grateful to you all, because we almost had to make a decision to close the doors when prices plummeted but we knew that so many local businesses and homes relied on our services. Things are still uneasy in the industry but with the adjustments made we are doing ok. I have had a few people ask about our hours so I will change them on here. We look forward to supporting as many local clubs as we can in 2021!
