07.01.2022 ECTA will read the detailed review a nd encourages all to do the same. Proposals of a 'replacement' outlined. ECTA believes the results of any national assessments need to be for teachers use only and never reported publicly or displayed in comparative tables etc. If the purpose is to extend learning then public publication is not necessary. Preparation time, testing time and responses to results must NOT impact daily learning they should enhance it.
