Although we are based on the Gold Coast, with the new normal of virtual meetings, we are open to applications from across Australia. Please feel free to share this with your network.

18.01.2022 An excellent article on eczema, allergies and what to avoid. "The problem is 'natural' skincare products, some of which are marketed for sensitive skin or even eczema, often contain food products such as goat's milk, cow's milk, almond, oat and coconut. And allergy specialists say these are best avoided, especially for kids with eczema." https://www.abc.net.au//avoid-skincare-with-food/100040570 #EczemaSupportAustralia

04.01.2022 Heads up!! Saturday evening we have OUR eczema story on A Current Affair.

03.01.2022 Our eczema community hopes this time is special: regardless of your shell.

02.01.2022 NEWS: Quirky Bowen video goes viral - Pharma in Focus article: Shadow Health Minister Chris Bowen has filmed a quirky video about Australia''s failure to subsidise Sanofi''s eczema drug Dupixent through the PBS, posting it on Facebook and receiving almost 10,000 views in just 24 hours. ....... Posted on the Eczema Support Australia Facebook page, the video received rave reviews.... "Chris Bowen''s video message beautifully articulated the frustration that many of our members are feeling right now," Eczema Support Australia managing director Melanie Funk said. "We also know that Minister Greg Hunt is acutely aware of our plight and we are confident that Dupixent will be listed in the very near future - and what that means is that there will be no more delays anywhere." For the full article: http://ow.ly/fs2N50Cvbn7 Further to this article, we would like to state that we are not insensitive to the fact that these decisions are complicated for our health care system to make. It takes co-operation from the pharmaceutical company as well as the Federal Government. We just hope that all involved sort this out ASAP so that Australians with severe eczema can experience appropriate qualify of life.
