Dress up as a superhero on Wed 29th April, during World Immunisation Week. Bring along a gold coin and help protect our community by supporting the Immunisation Foundation of Australia! And for those of you self isolating at home send us a picture of your superhero costume :)

19.01.2022 I am believer in process art that allows the children to create and use the materials in their own way and not worry about the final project. It does mean that sometimes my children do not have the greatest art projects to take home...but they have created wonderful memories. Take our hand print Christmas Trees. I showed the children the example and then let them create...

14.01.2022 Dolls are for girls - cars are for boys, Let him be a boy I laughed so hard when I got that comment because, to me, there is nothing manlier than a man who hol...ds a baby in his arms . . Something a lot of women out there would agree on - so that’s why it’s so funny to me how when a grow man care for a baby everyone thinks he’s amazing but when a baby boy plays with a doll people seem to think it’s inappropriate . . But honestly - there is no such thing as boy toys and girl toys, there are just toys - did you know that playing with dolls helps children develop compassion and empathy learning how to care for another person, why would that only be for girls? repost: @pregnancyjourney_ : @saracelinaa #mychildmag #family #love #parenting #parenthood

07.01.2022 Parents please stop teaching your children to stick out their hands for a dog to sniff. Dogs can already smell you all. A hand sticking out, flapping about can ...be intimidating to the dog. Teach your children to ask the human holding the lead and be respectful if the answer is no. There are many reasons that answer may have been given, but it is a valid response.
