25.01.2022 A bit fresh out this morning, but how beautiful is that winter sun over Lake Wallace

23.01.2022 Just as seasons and prices fluctuate, so does farm income. With fixed rate and variable rate options, you can set aside pre-tax income from your profitable years, so you have it available when you need it most. You’ll earn interest on your FMD and no monthly account service fees or transaction fees apply. Contact us to find out more. Products are issued by Rural Bank A Division of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited, ABN 11 068 049 178 AFSL/Australian Credit Licence 237879 and distributed by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited. Before making any investment decision you should consider your situation and consult your taxation adviser to ensure that you meet the legislative requirements and read the relevant Terms and Conditions available at www.bendigobank.com.au or from any Bendigo Bank branch.

21.01.2022 Applications are still open. Please contact the branch for further information.

21.01.2022 Our Branch Manager is currently lambing at 150% this season on his hobby farm (easy when one of your two ewes has twins!). How's your lambing going this year? And if you’re a real farmer, don’t forget to ask Nathan, Robert Barnes or the branch about how Rural Bank can help your farm finances, while helping the community at the same time. #ruralbankfriday

12.01.2022 Whilst this year has been a bit quieter on the sponsorship front (due to COVID-19), we were pleased to recently present a cheque to Apsley Primary School for $500. These funds were used towards purchase of a new wheelbarrow and greenhouse canopy. What a fantastic initiative by the school! Applications for the next round of sponsorships close at the end of December, so if your community group has a project in mind, contact the branch for more information.

11.01.2022 Call into the branch or phone us today to discuss your next project!! Applications for the next round close on Friday 25 September 2020.

09.01.2022 Merry Christmas and a Happier New Year!

09.01.2022 Christmas can be a wonderfully joyous time for family gatherings; BBQ's, ham, seafood, Christmas hats and children running around hands full of recently unwrapped presents. For others, it can be a difficult time where they can find themselves alone. Sandy Mulraney, seven years ago, realised this was occurring locally within the Edenhope community, so along with Linda Guthridge, even though they met with some initial resistance, with their perseverance, the first Edenhope Chr...istmas lunch for those who found themselves in this situation was born. This first year gathered 40 community members together for a gorgeously cooked lunch, Christmas cheer, music, conversations and presents. Along with the help of many volunteers, this lunch has been successfully held every Christmas since. The lead up to Christmas this year however has bought with it new challenges that has required some thinking outside of the box. While the traditional lunch was unable to be organised due to uncertainty, the lovely ladies put their creative hands and heads together to organise Christmas hampers, full of treats many may not be able to enjoy otherwise. Edenhope & District Community Bank Branch has happily donated $600 towards this year’s Hampers to ensure this tradition continues. As Sandy mentioned, the reason behind initiating this seven years ago now, was due to her belief that If you have a strong community that looks out for itself, you have a better township. Certainly a message Edenhope & District Community Bank Branch fully supports and stands for. On behalf of us all, we wish you all a Safe & Happy Christmas and New Year.
