21.01.2022 2021 UPDATE: There have been discussions taking place about the future of the EMRL in the 2021 season and beyond. At this stage the discussions are in relation to a merger with the Eden Senior Club. Initially (2021)talks are about there being two executive committees with the Juniors retaining their own Treasurer, Secretary and Registrar for the administration of the junior group under the Senior president (Leigh Hennessey) This would be reviewed for its effectiveness at the... end of the season. The actual structure of the proposed club merger is still under discussion and there will be a further meeting held on Thursday 26th November at the Eden RSL Hall 7pm. There will be a representative from Group 16 at this meeting. We strongly encourage anyone with opinions, concerns or ideas to either attend this meeting in person or to email your comments/concerns to [email protected] or [email protected] and these will be addressed at the meeting. All are welcome to attend and all opinions will be valued. This is your opportunity to have an input and have your say in the running of the junior club. Our youth are an important part of our community and it is vital that we provide them with the best possible environment to engage in sporting and social activities and also to make a successful return to the Group 16 Minor League Competition in 2021season.. 09.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT !!! As a result of Thursday nights meeting between junior and senior representatives we would like to announce that there was a motion put forward to merge Junior and Senior clubs and that the result was a "unanimous" vote to move ahead in this direction. So as of 2021 season there will be one Eden Tigers club that will incorporate both junior and senior groups working together. This is an exciting opportunity for the two groups to now work as one to str...engthen and build on the resources available to all. As with any merger it will take time to iron out the fine details but everyone will be kept up to date with regular posts regarding changes and how these changes will be structured and effect the day to day working of the Club moving forward. For now there will be a junior and senior executive group that will work under a shared President Leigh Hennessey. Juniors will retain their own treasurer, secretary and registrar to spread out the work load. We strongly encourage everyone to support these changes and work together towards building a strong and successful Rugby League Club for our players and our community.
