24.01.2022 Today we had a lovely surprise! One of our beautiful Wyandotte hens went missing a few weeks back and I presumed she had been taken by a fox. Today, I heard a strange clucking noise coming from an unused chaff bin... Take a look!!

22.01.2022 Latest Update. Edenview Holiday Rental is closing as an Airbnb as of next week, with the exception of one booking in May. No bookings will be taken until January 2022. To everyone who has ever stayed here at Edenviewas an Airbnb or Stayz guest, we want to thank you. We do want you to visit again but our daughter and her hubby need our help to save for their home and we need to help them. We will continue to update any new Edenview events as they come along, but just won’t ...be having guests. All the best everyone. Bless ya heaps! See more

21.01.2022 FYI, Goldie, our 8 year old goldfish, has finally got herself a bigger 4 foot tank! For all of you who have been here at Edenview, you know how cramped poor Goldie was. She isn’t any more! She is one happy girl, so are her friends. I think we may need to get a few more friends for her! (For those who don’t know Goldie, she was purchased as a 5cm goldfish but just kept growing! She would be close to 12cms now)

19.01.2022 Edenview has been having a bit of a facelift recently. Most of our fencing has been replaced and I would like to give a big shout out to Max’s Tree Worx for such a wonderful job!! We are so happy with what Greg and Narelle Bridge and their team have done.

10.01.2022 Taking a wander through the orchard this afternoon and couldn’t help but notice this awesome worker bee on one of our apple tree blossoms. Amazing creature, so industrious!

09.01.2022 We have had a few great storms, along with very welcome rain in the last week or so. Everything has gone from brown and crunchy to fresh green almost magically. Today we are getting another quick shower... don’t you love to hear the sound of rain on a colourbond roof? (That’s our dog Tiggy whining in the background)

05.01.2022 At Edenview, we are half way through renovating our main bathroom, (due to a leaking shower). Here are some pics of the work so far, up to the water proofing stage; tiling happening during the week. An epic 1 month turnaround... just 2 weeks to go before our first guests after the Covid lockdown. That seat and nib are in our shower area. (Watch this space for updates!)

04.01.2022 This evening, hubby decided to fly his drone. Nothing unusual about that. Except that Tiggy (our fur baby) decided it would be good to catch!!!! It was merely inches away, and wow, thanks to our nephew Phil, he caught the action when Tiggy decided he would try and get the dreaded thing that was buzzing around! Haha! A great photo, don’t you think?

02.01.2022 We had a wonderful family come to stay for 3 nights as guests last weekend, celebrating their Christmas In July. It was perfect winter weather, and they were beautiful people. They sent me this photo of their Christmas table. Note: awesome sunset in the background

01.01.2022 Well, the bathroom reno is 98% finished, just needs a second coat of paint on the cornices, and the frameless shower screen installed. Both will be next week now but at least the bathroom is functional for our guests tomorrow. Now for the clean up!
