23.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone. It's time to give away Seat 4 into the $4,000 20/21 GOL GOL NINE. All you have to do is be THE APRIL PLAYER OF THE MONTH at The Gol Gol H...otel. It all starts Easter Monday night and runs for the 4 Monday nights of April. The player who scores the most points over the 4 nights will win Seat 4 into the GG9, and will also receive a Southern Poker Tour package for their Victor Habor series in May. The package includes 3 nights accommodation, 1 x $200 SPT main event seat and $300 spending money. It's ironic that the 3 people already in the 200/21 G.G9 Jon Jon, Patsy and Chris Dimasi will want to win the SPT pagkage, as they are all going to Victor Harbor for the series. So it's game on EASTER MONDAY and all of April as we find out who is our best. Don't miss, Monday's sugar rush, no chocolates just CASH. The Top 4 or 5 players at the end of the night get paid. The highest hand of the night will win free entry and add-on for next week. The S1000 royal flush is up for grabs. Buy-in, is the usual $50 with the optional $25 add-on. There is a full $75 re-entry option if you lose all your chips before the end of level 6. 04.01.2022 Now that's what you call a very interesting night. With 25 runners turning up and having a red hot crack, producing a $1450 prizepool. Maurice had a bounty on his head and Beardy, gladly wiped him out collecting a slab of Bundy for getting the job done. We saw Jesse get the highest hand of the night with Quad Jacks, winning him free entry next week. Also getting free entry next week was Pilgs for finishing in 5th place on the money bubble. 4th place and $100 went to Beardy. N...ot long after Beardy's departure the top 3 did a chop, which gave Jesse 3rd place and $425, in 2nd was Katherine also collecting $425. Brian took down the win for night and $500. Well played to all those that cashed. But the highIight of the night was Maggie and Feao walking out with the biggest smiles of all, after having a very nice win for the night. Lucky you were eliminated just before the bubble Maggie. Congrats to you both, brilliant stuff, it is always great to see the poker players taking home the big ones. 01.01.2022 Well, well, well the war is truly on, between The Edge and The GOL GOL HOTEL as the players produce the biggest fields, trying to out do each other. Last Frida...y, Edge Hotel Poker had the biggest prizepool for the week at $2,250 and also the biggest field of runners. But last night Golly sat them back in 2nd place as 39 runners rocked up and produced a $2,850 prizepool. We are so proud of all you players, as we love nothing better than seeing great poker, with quality players and good numbers every week, played in a brilliant atmosphere. GGHP would like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting both our venues each week. Last night saw a very strong field of players and there was some incredible poker played. Patsy played her quad sixes very nicely and got chipped up early. Her quads held up as the highest hand of the night, giving Patsy free-entry and add-on next week and also a $100 CHASER seat. It was always going to be an interesting final table, as the stacks swapped and changed from one player to another. But in the end it was the Husband and wife duo of Misi and Simone that would finish up 1st and 2nd taking home $2,000. Michael played extremely strong all night collecting $400 for 3rd, Ty also played well and finished 4th picking up $300. Lindsay was very unlucky getting rivered in 5th giving him $150. Alex hung in by a thread to get 6th earning him Free-Entry and add-on for next week. Again to everyone last night. A very big thank you for an awesome game and we hope to see you all at The Edge on Friday night for another very big night of poker and then back at Golly next Monday, when we do it all again.
