17.01.2022 Work is a bit slow at the moment although we are still here waiting for you. I quilted one of my own quilts yesterday. It’s an old top that had waited quite a while to be done.

10.01.2022 Hi all, I became a new grandmother today at 5.17 am. My 7th grandy. 2nd girl. How lovely are baby’s. Won’t get to hold her for a few weeks yet all going well. I have been quilting away while I’m locked in though. Even managed to do a few of my own. Both of these have been in the tub for years waiting. Now I can get some more out to do.

10.01.2022 Having a week sewing with my Saturday night group. The Sew and Sews. Great friends. So far I’ve finished 3 tops and still have 2 days to go.

10.01.2022 And top all done. Oversized gingham quilt for my 2nd cousin. Now to do the back.

06.01.2022 Today and yesterday I’ve been finishing off this scrap quilt using up some of my 2strips. All I need is a border now. Another foray into my stash tomorrow

05.01.2022 How is Covid treating everyone? I miss seeing my family and my new granddaughter. I miss going to the movies and out for lunch with friends. The one good thing is lots of people are quilting again (not much else to do) I’ve got a photo here of a customers quilt that I’d like to share.... The flowers are raised and I’ve freehanded the leaf design in the background. I thought it was lovely. See more

05.01.2022 Due to COVID19 we are all at home. I’m still open for business. Things are a bit slow but we are still working. My garden hasn’t looked this good in years. The green waste bin gets filled as fast as it gets emptied. I am also doing more sewing. Which becomes a problem because I don’t need anymore quilts. I did find a very old UFO that needs some appliqué. It’s old pieces of kimonos that I sewed together so I’m going to stick that on then I can sew it on when I have some sit down and watch TV time.

05.01.2022 Another beautiful quilt from one of my ladies I quilt for. I did freehand leaves and some loose quilting on the flowers.

05.01.2022 This is what I’ve been doing over the last two weeks. My Laundry Basket Mystery quilt top finished. Now to decide which border to put on. Probably the Appliqué one.
