19.01.2022 It's with excitement that we introduce you to our new Personal Trainer Amy Keen. Amy is our local girl growing up with two sisters in a very sports oriented family. She has represented soccer at a high level and played many other sports. It is through her frustration of injuries that she's discovered her passion to support young woman overcome their hurdles and find their confidence. Amy has been with F45 Lismore for the past two years as GF leader and PT and is now back ho...me in ALstonville. Amy represents resilience, strength and youth. She understands the demands and stresses young woman face and looks to bestow positivity, clarity, enjoyment and role model the importance of working out and how impactful that is. It is a challenging time for them because the external world can create unrealistic expectations for their self image and self worth. ... For us at home, to navigate Bellas stresses and pressures, we always focus on the power of food. Because great nutrition is pivotal in providing energy and clarity to her actions. we don’t eliminate any whole food group we don’t do diets we often focus on eating more of certain foods for balance. Trust me, I have had my fair share of fad diets. Learning to grow, prepare and eat whole foods is huge key to understanding your health and what you need before adding supplements. we focus on eating together as a family more often. There is evidence showing kids who eat together with family have a healthier diet. we encourage one night where Bella, Rach and I create dinner together. This ads to creating positive family meal prep and eating environment. Evidence shows this reduces eating disorders amongst our young people particularly our young girls. 18.01.2022 What a fabulous year we have had with our Edge fit girls and Bro club classes, this year we have also brought on the edge fit girls - little sisters which has had a great response. This week we have celebrated with parties, workouts, the sun came out for the girls to have a swim and the boys had a sweaty session today with the 12 days of Christmas workout. We absolutely love these programs that we have for the kids, they are more then just exercise they are about being part ...of a positive community, learning how to look after your self, your whole self especially when things aren't going too well. The kids are so encouraging and supportive of each other and it's really beautiful to see. We look forward to new and exciting things next year. His background: He's a country boy from Orange - that really says a lot about his warm open character and genuine nice guy. However he is an avid rugby player, opened and managed a crossfit gym in Germany for 5 and a half years, yes he's well versed when it comes to complimentary health returned home and worked at F45 writing their programmes for Orange. He and his partner Alexandra Grace moved to the area where Mitch is pursuing another of his passions, landscaping. We really are privileged to have Mitch sharing his experience with us which will add more depth to our programmes. 5 quick fun facts about Mitch. 1. Lifelong sports and fitness lover. Played rugby my whole life and have been a pt and cf coach for about 6 years now. 2.
