08.01.2022 Community appeal to fight Sekisui development at Yaroomba. Donate to protect our town plan. Development Watch has estimated that the costs of appealing the SCRC’s decision re Yaroomba Beach could exceed $350,000. They have used the example of 3,500 people contributing $100 to achieve this funding requirement. Of course smaller (or larger!) amounts are welcome. ... Alternatively you can set up an automatic regular payment of a smaller fortnightly amount to assist in this campaign. I know that we are all constantly being asked for money for good causes but this appeal is a vital and realistic attempt to protect our Planning Scheme and that has relevance across our whole local government area.
