24.01.2022 On Wednesday Night we sponsored the event - A Candid Discussion with Heston Russell. Over 1000 people viewed the event on line and actual attendees at the Realm... Hotel included veterans, members of the veteran support community and interested civilians. This short extract is the Heston Russell case for a Royal Commission into Veteran Suicide. It is a position I support and so does Kris Milne. I call on the Commonwealth the stop dragging the chain; appoint a Royal Commissioner now before another life is lost. How hard can it be? 08.01.2022 This is a call to the Canberra Veteran Community to gather in front of Parliament House on Monday 22 March 21 at 9am. What causes a veteran to believe that the only way forward is suicide as opposed to living the rest of their lives with loved ones. So what are we doing? ... - Recycle our Nespresso pods with the collection program through Nespresso - Established soft plastic recycling collection system - Collection for office waste such as old pens and e-waste and provided back to the Officeworks recycling program - Plastic bottles and cartoons taken to the ACT Container Deposit Scheme In addition to this we make a concerted effort to minimise our use through reducing printing and going digital whereever possible. This is all part of our responsbility as a business in 2020 and we welcome new opportunities to continue to reduce our waste.
