08.01.2022 With the recent and large scale hail storm that ripped through Canberra on Monday, we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls reporting damage. Please be patient during this time, trades are stretched to their limits (roofers and glaziers in particular) and are prioritizing jobs. A reminder also to ensure that you report damage promptly to your Property Manager by email, please supply photos along with your email this will be a great help with insurance claims. Thank you,, your understanding and co-operation in this time is appreciated.

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone, In these uncertain times, firstly I just want to wish you all well, to keep safe and to take care of yourselves and each other. Secondly, I want to assure you that our office is still open, we are still here working business as usual. An exception to this is that we have cancelled routine inspections at this point, this will be reviewed at the end of May. For everyone's safety, the below office protocols have been put in place, please ensure that this is adhere...d to: 1. Meeting with your Property Manager will be by appointment only in the office. 2. Open home inspections will be reduced to a max of 6 people allowed in the property at the same time. You will be asked a set of questions before access is granted which you must answer truthfully, hand sanitizer must be used prior to entry (this will be provided). 3. Final Inspections for vacating tenants will preferably be conducted without the tenants present, however if you must be present you will be respectfully requested to wait outside while your Property Manager completes the inspection 4. Should remote access/working from home be required, we will have provisions in place to ensure that we can continue to keep in contact with our clients and monitor their properties in the most effective way possible. We will continue to deliver service to our clients as best as possible in these times. Be kind to each other, take care and keep safe. Some weekend reading for you as we get closer and closer to tax time, important information about tax deductions and Tax Depreciation Schedules (TDS). Not all Property Investors, or Property Managers for that matter know about TDS's and the advantages they offer investors other than claiming tax deductions for your run of the mill maintenance and repair invoices.
