24.01.2022 Gday everyone, If you know anyone who wants to get their(HR) Heavy Rigid truck licence very soon,please ask them to contact me asap,as I am going to be away for 2 weeks from 25th April to 17 May and not be contactable. if you need a "Refresher" to maintain your competency, remember I am the only Truck Driving School to give my clients a "Refresher" for $50 p/hour. That only pays for the fuel! You will want to book quickly, as this opportunity usually goes off!... There is currently a shortage of Cement truck drivers in Perth and up North. Cement trucks are also known as (Agis) short for "Agitator" truck. Dont overlook that.. If you are having trouble getting a (HR) job, you are covered for your (MR) already, so dont rule out going for a (MR) job and work your way up from there, gaining work experience and Road Knowledge. Its a start! Plenty of companies advertise for Couriers and General freight drivers.Dont think there are No Jobs! There are, if You Want them! Sell yourself to a potential employer...show you are Keen! An old trick I learnt years ago, if you really want a job,tell the employer you will work two days, for free... 22.01.2022 Gday everyone, At least 5 times a week, I get calls asking me about (1) day or (2) day courses and why dont I do them. I will answer this question "honestly" for those of you who would like to know...... It has been my experience not only working for myself or when I was at RMS, that most people struggle to deal with the amount of information they need to absorb during "even" a (2) hour lesson. A Roadranger Non Synchro, gearbox is complex and learning to master it, can be very frustrating. Those of you I have trained will agree with me and those who may have tried, will too. Like anything, it comes down to practise. Learning to relax is the key, as frustration just screws with your head. I have people come to me from other schools who have done a day course and felt they wasted their money, as it was TOO much to learn in a Day. Yup! Sure was.... Any of my former learners will tell you, I make that very clear in the beginning. I will get you what you want! You just need to Relax, listen and do as I say... If you can count from 1 to 2, I can train you. So, I wont tell you on the phone B.S. to get your money, I will tell you honestly, what to expect! Then after the initial compulsory introduction to the truck and its operating systems, I will show you the skill set you will need, to Pass your PDA. On your first lesson, I will tell you how many lessons you will need by the way you demonstrate your current abilities. You WILL always know how you are progressing and if you are a fast "SAFE" learner, will be able to go to a PDA and not be screwed,(ouch!) for a few dollars more. I have a proven honest reputation and never rip anyone off! I hope that answers any questions regarding why I dont do day courses! Stay safe.... Cheers! Lee

19.01.2022 GDay everyone, Thanks for your continued support! The "Back to School" offer has been good for those who had thought about getting, their (HR) truck licence. Fire Brigade applicants are among those who often come to me first, as well as those wanting entry to Freight Transport, Agitator, and Mining. My Tip: get your (HR) BEFORE, the next boom. People panic later, when their mates have jobs lined up and they havent got the licence.... Let me know what you want to drive and I will "Skill" you for that occupation. Remember, though (HR) my Mack is effectively a Prime mover truck, so you are already skilling for (HC) (MC) cab types. Then you only need to get comfortable with Trailers. 14.01.2022 Gday everyone...where the hell has this year gone? If you are looking to change your job early next year or have been made redundant recently, having your (HR) truck licence "can" open doors. Last nights news report gave good news for some, with the mention of new jobs at ROY HILL. Having your (HR) can open doors, to new opportunity.... Often, one job onsite leads to another, especially if you know people onsite. I dont know how many times I have been told, "My mate can get me a job, but I need to get my (HR) NOW ...." Yeah! Good luck with that... There is only a couple of weeks until Xmas and it is possible to get your (HR) before, if you are quick... Beat the rush now, before early next year when word gets out, about Roy Hill. To my guys and girls I have trained this year or previous...if you need a "Refresher" it is still $50 p/hr. FYI...I am the cheapest (HR) Driving School in Perth. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and benefitted from the best training in a MACK truck. To everyone I have been fortunate to meet this year, my clients, friends and followers of this Facebook page, please be good to each other and enjoy your Christmas with loved ones. Dont forget to Nod or smile at the people you dont know, whether on the roads or neighbours. At least for Christmas Day anyway.... Yes I know the road is full of "Muppets" but you can lead by example. You are a better driver, because of the new skills you have learnt. Please be safe out there....double demerit points are a fair incentive. Recently, I donated my 10th Blood and Plasma donation. I mentioned I am "Chicken Shit" when it comes to Needles, but I can tell you, the buzz I get from knowing I am doing something so worthwhile, makes that little prick worth it. 3 people just benefitted from the last Plasma donation. 04.01.2022 Congratulations to my (3) guys that " Passed " their (HR) practical driving test, this week. Well done guys!!! Interestingly, each has a different career path in mind, that an (HR) licence will help to open, new doors.... Dave (TOAD) Miltons comments the other day, were quite typical of those comments left in my customer satisfaction folders, I carry with me in the truck. I call it the "Hollywood Hall of Fame" where they are free to leave me comments and suggestions relating to how they were treated and how they found their overall training experience. Often the comments are positively funny, as I make it as enjoyable as possible, yet very professional. Most of you will know At present, I do not have a dedicated Website....therefore customer comments are generally not exposed visibly, but I have heaps of positive responses documented from the numerous Learners, I have trained. Things are quiet all around and people I deal with all, have stories of Doom and Gloom! But, millionaires are often made by looking at the flip side, of such events. Dont fall for the publicised Doom and Gloom! Shit happens! Change the way you think and go for it! That is the only way you can get through that dark tunnel of despair and hit the light at the end!!!! If I can help you in any way, let me know...I am not a miracle worker ( some Learners tell me otherwise, LOL) but if you or anyone you know needs Training, please consider me! If you are up shit creek without a paddle and feel depressed or not coping with life, call me people, I will try helping you where I can. I have had troubled learners who I come to know personally and I have tried to listen or talk positively where I can.
