We are required to track members coming through the Clubhouse and have implemented the app 1Breadcrumb.... 09.01.2022 COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE Further to a Statement from the Premier this morning (refer attached media release below) following a decision of the National Cabinet to implement Stage 1 of a shutdown of non essential activity across the country from midday today has been put in place, aimed at the slowing the spread of coronavirus. We were all working on a strategy to keep food services going at EBC, however the definition of non-essential business applies to EBC, which restr...icts take away meals or a meal delivery service according to the attachment (4a). There is a clear delineation in the stage 1 closure announcement that puts EBC in the category of Club Licence (non essential business) and only restaurants and cafes being allowed to do takeaways and home delivery services. The directive applies from 23 March 2020 to 13 April 2020. Our focus will be on ensuring members houseboats are secure within the confines of the harbour and a skeleton work force is in place to service critical infrastructure. The Clubhouse will be closed until the 13 April 2020 at this stage. The phones will be diverted during this period and the preferred method of contact would be via email to [email protected] . To reach someone via the phone please call the office number on 57742 040, which will be diverted to the on call staff member. Limited Services During this period, we will endeavour to provide essential services to members as detailed below: Marina and Mooring assistance Work jetty bookings via the App Gas (delivery only on Thursdays - bookings via app in before 5pm Wednesday) No Werribee Duck until further notice More information will be provided in the coming days with respect to our Easter Program. Please note: All the information received to date is encouraging people to be responsible with respect to containment measures and that they should be taken seriously.
