20.01.2022 The Eisteddfod senior vocal section was held successfully using Zoom for two days on the weekend. How wonderful it was to hear so many beautiful voices again. It was challenging to present in this current stage 4 lock down but we were passionate and determined to offer a performance opportunity for the young adult singers. The response has made it all so worthwhile. I want to thank our very delightful and warm adjudicator Carrie Barr who has gone beyond the call of duty to assist and contribute so willingly and also the team Andrea and Lorraine who worked so hard " on the days"

12.01.2022 SENIOR VOCAL NEWS. We hope to offer senior vocal again this year. As we are experiencing an unprecedented and challenging situation due to Covid-19 we have been undecided. I have received queries from many of you and now, as we are in lockdown, we have decided to offer in the safest possible way using Zoom. I am very keen to support our young singers and still offer an opportunity to perform and receive a critique,but also very mindful of our duty of care. Senior Vocal adjudicator, Carrie Barr is supportive of this. As I have been receiving lots of questions, I decided the best way to inform you is on Facebook. I will be following up with an email to teachers also.

11.01.2022 Such a exciting weekend for Senior Vocal Eisteddfod. Two busy days of lovely singing from all our entrants A big thanks to Suzanne Johnston our hard working adjudicator who will be there again on Thursday evening to adjudicate The City of Kingston Aria from Grand Opera at Kingston Arts Centre. Congratulations to all winners and placegetters from all eleven senior vocal sections and to everyone who performed. We look forward to seeing many of you again on Thursday evening. Thank you to Diana Burleigh Gilbert and Sullivan Comic Opera Prize and Ian Nisbet Stephen Sondheim Award - both generous sponsors who presented their section prizes.

09.01.2022 Huge congratulations to the winners of The City of Kingston Aria from Grand Opera - the Gala Night which is the culmination of the twelve senior vocal sections.1st place - Jessica Carrascalao Heard, 2nd place Elizabeth Potter, 3rd place Cindy Lui, HM Natalie Grimmett,, Joshua Erdelyi - Gotz, Andrew Alesi. Such an incredibly high standard of singing from everyone. And a huge thankyou to adjudicator Suzanne Johnston.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to all competitors online today. The standard was excellent and the event ran superbly. Thank you to our teachers parents and competitors.
