14.01.2022 People often ask what Ekistica does. Well, as regional Australia's leading technical advisory business we do lots of interesting things, all around Australia and overseas.There is, however, a common theme: we work with great people to build difficult things in challenging locations. It's in our name "Ekistica" which is dervied from a greek word that describes the relationship between people, place and the built environment. A great example of what we do is below. We led the ...project team and were the owners engineers for the Ross River Solar Farm near Townsville. We battled floods, fires and significant logistical issues to build a 148MW solar farm. 03.01.2022 It’s been a pretty busy year at Ekistica with our team leading construction of a $280m wind farm in Tasmania, working in PNG on new transmission lines into the highlands, developing new power systems for Palau, delivering housing projects across Central Australia, designing and installing weather stations across the NT, and being invited to speak at conferences in Chili, Amsterdam and Marseille. In the middle of all of that we added some great people to our team. Jennifer was introduced to us through our community introduction program. Heather (in the middle) introduced Jennifer and got to take home $1500 of vouchers for local businesses in Alice and we got an amazing new team member! Great outcome for all.
