25.01.2022 Last week Every Little Bit Helps sent 200 care packs and 5000 Lindt Chocolates to the The Royal Melbourne Hospital to support staff members just like Dan who are currently in hotel quarantine with COVID-19. Dan’s video represents the voice of more than 900 health care workers who are currently infected with COVID-19. 21.01.2022 Today, in a world-first, the Royal Australian Mint released a special $1 coin which is intended to be donated to charities like ours! Though the dollar is legal currency, the purpose behind it is to encourage the finder of the dollar to donate it to a charity, so it can be used to help others. Today 3 million of these coins were released into circulation with up to $25 million being released in the coming years. While there is no doubt we are all going through tough times at ...the moment, some are doing it much tougher than others with an estimated 1:5 Australians reported to require some level of aid or charitable support over the next 12 months. This coin is a small coin, made to make a difference. If you find one of these special coins, you are encouraged to donate it by either banking it and making an online donation, or sending the coin to your nominated charity as a cash donation. You should not hold on to it. You are also encouraged to start a conversation with your children, friends and family about the importance of giving and supporting others. Based on 25 million Australians, if every Australian donated just one Donation Dollar a month, together we have the potential to raise an additional $300 million dollars annually for people in need. 14.01.2022 We received a parcel in the mail today from ‘Steve’ in Melbourne containing hotel toiletries. We literally the parcel in our possession for no more than 10 minutes before we encountered a local and very grateful homeless man who is known to us. These toiletries were gratefully received by him. Thank you for your kindness Steve and to all of you who continue to support our work through these difficult times.

This week the spotlight is on... Margot Stabback. Margot 1st discovered us when we were just 2 months old in 2014, and has been volunteering with us ever since! Margot is our 1st Every Little Bit Helps Ambassador and our Northern Beaches Area Manager. She is also one of the kindest and most caring pe...ople we have ever met! Over the last 6 years, Margot has been instrumental in growing and developing our Northern Beaches area, and supports us by doing regular pick-ups of donations from our Northern Beaches drop off points including from our Flight Centre partners as well as developing awareness throughout the area. Margot also travels with a care pack and flyers in her car, just in case she meets someone she believes can support us! Recently Margot provided us with a very generous financial donation that allowed us to purchase 5,000 ELBH branded toothbrushes that are now included in our care packs to continue our mission of ensuring Every Australian should have access to a toothbrush and a bar of soap.
