25.01.2022 The weather is heating up and the Diamond room children are spending lots more time outside enjoying the day. The sandpit is a very popular activity and today Kaysha, Tiah , Avin and Ansh played together creating one big castle. The Diamond room children mix with the Sapphire children outdoor and they play quite well together. Outcome 3 Children have a strong sense of wellbeing Children become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing when they increasingly cooperate and work collaboratively with others



25.01.2022 As the weather is warming up we have been fortunate enough to be able to head outdoors and explore our surroundings. The opal room children enjoyed moving around freely ,interacting with each other and also with their peers in the Emerald room. Outcome: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing. They show enthusiasm for participating in physical play and negotiate play spaces.

Research has also shown that there has been significant improvements in their cognitive attentiveness, alertness and awareness. 06.01.2022 This morning in the Diamond room the children participated in some art and craft activity. The activity was based around the mathematical concept of shapes and the children chose which shape they would use as a base for their art. Evie, Cadence, Mase, Kaleb and Jack were given free range to create their own shape monster with all the resources on the table. Outcome 4 Children are confident and involved learners Children transfer and adapt what they have learned from one context to another when they engage in co-construct learning

06.01.2022 We would also like to welcome Rhiannon to our centre. Rhiannon is the room leader in the Ruby room. Rhiannon has recently moved from Swan Hill to Tarneit and has joined us this week. She is looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know your children. Welcome Rhiannon!

06.01.2022 The children have been enjoying the outdoors due to the lovely sunny weather. They have been playing ball games all morning. Kaleb made up a game, whereby they set up the orange tub as a hoop and stood on the top of the slide to throw the ball in. He took turns with Cadence and Lachlan. Outcome 3 Children have a strong sense of well-being Children take increasing responsibility for their own health and physical well-being when they show enthusiasm for participating in physical play.

01.01.2022 This morning the children from the Ruby room enjoyed playing outdoors. Shalom has mastered climbing the big forte as she loves the slides outdoors and is very proud of her achievement. Aylin showed great concentration when using the bead frames. This is a great activity to work on her hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. Learning outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners.
