Bring your own shovel and please take only what you may need. Also to prepare houses for very strong winds, clean gutters and tidy your yard to prevent flying objects. Stay up to date via the Bom site and the Fraser coast council website. if you need assistance please call SES on 132500 Significant rainfall expected Sunday and Monday Significant rainfall within the Fraser Coast Local Government Area, 200mm possible over a 48hour period, primarily Easter Sunday and Monday. Heavy to locally intense rainfall, damaging winds and hazardous surf conditions may develop around central Queensland late Sunday and extend into the southeast corner of the state during Monday a Severe Weather Warning may be issued on Sunday. Flash flooding will become an increased risk around central and southeast Queensland, particularly about any of the already saturated streams or creeks. A Flood Watch is current for coastal catchments between St Lawrence and the Qld/NSW border, extending inland to the Darling Downs . Flood Warnings remain current for some catchments across western and southern Queensland.
