25.01.2022 You can recognize the green color of the clipsal dimmer. These customers were very luck that the house did not catch fire because it was mounted in a VJ wall (old queenslander).

14.01.2022 I seem to be having a dodgey week. Old mate was changing his own heater/fan/light, with the circuit still on. I asked if he had turned the circuit off and he turned and disappeared to return shortly there after. He said the power was now off so I asked where the switchboard was so I could check. Glad I did because a power circuit was off but the light circuit was still on. I corrected that and continued with the job. It stresses me that old mate was going to give himself a good belting if not kill himself for the sake of $150.00.

06.01.2022 Had a regular customer ring with an earth leakage fault. We located it to the pump he replaced the pressure switch on yesterday. We found that he had transposed the active to the earth terminal and the earth to the active terminal.! Basically the safety switch saved him and his family from an electric shock that could have been fatal. The frame of the pump would have been live when turned on. Please leave the dangerously serious electrical stuff to the trained professionals.

01.01.2022 I found a faulty power point the other day. It is amazing how deteriorated they can get. This just fell apart when we undid the mounting screws
