25.01.2022 Electro.Aero has achieved a new milestone by shipping the world’s first high voltage electric aircraft charger, the Electro.Aero Charger RAPID 30. This compact and portable charger is designed to charge aircraft batteries up to 1 kV, delivering 30 kW of power over a wide DC output voltage from 300 V to 1 kV. The RAPID 30 was shipped from Perth to Ampaire in Los Angeles, a US company achieving their own exciting milestones as they retrofit existing passenger aircraft to electric. #electric #electricaviation #electricflight #electriccharger

23.01.2022 In the latest episode of Coffee with Samso, CEO and Co-Founder Richard Charlton explains electric propulsion, and why Electro.Aero should be the first choice when considering electric aviation technology companies. #electricaviation #electricpropulsion

23.01.2022 We are excited to become the first official supporter of #AirRaceE. Our expertise in aviation charging will assist teams to adopt a common charging standard, maximising their choice of chargers, and minimising their development costs. #electricaircraft #electricaviation #evcharging #electricvehicles #flight #racing

21.01.2022 Electro.Aero Chairman, Patrick Kedemos, is a valuable mentor to our executive team. With our engineering team hitting technical milestones almost every week, our Board has the essential combination of enthusiasm and experience we need to manage rapid growth. Patrick previously held senior management roles at Air Liquide, Wesfarmers and AnaeCo. A dual Australian-French citizen, he was also the Honorary Consul for France in Western Australia for seven years, and currently runs his own capital advisory firm, Avanguard Capital. He sits on several boards and teaches financial modelling at UWA. He is a proud father of two.

19.01.2022 Last week, Electro.Aero CTO Josh Portlock spoke at Perth's Engine Room Business Innovation Excelerate Group. Josh shared his experience as an entrepreneur and disruptive innovator. His talk was very well received by the highly skilled Excelerate Group, who said they felt inspired to innovate with a purpose in mind. On the very same day, our Digital Designer Naomi Gunton presented a condensed version of her electric UX talk at a design workshop for thirty of Perth’s leading U...X Designers. Naomi’s original 45-minute electric UX talk was a huge success last month at Perth’s first #UXcamp conference. Josh and Naomi believe in taking the time to share Electro.Aero innovations with the broader community, and are united in their vision of sustainable electric aviation. #electricaviation #electricaircraft #ux

15.01.2022 Electro.Aero Senior Engineer, Steve Gates, is completing the design and construction of our temperature-controlled test chamber (seen here). The test chamber, located at our tech lab at Jandakot Airport, will be used for endurance testing of our Electro.Aero light electric propulsion systems for light aircraft. Steve is a highly experienced mechanical engineer who has worked in the offshore, defence, manufacturing and agriculture industries. In 2016, he was named Western Australian Volunteer of the Year for his 20-year record of volunteer work in the areas of sustainable energy and disability services. His pastimes include sport aviation and aircraft construction. #electricflight #electricaviation

13.01.2022 A sneak peek of our technology under development can be seen in this photo of our airport workshop, including our Electro.Aero Fan electric ducted #propulsion systems and our Electro.Aero Charger line of aircraft-optimised rapid #chargers.

09.01.2022 Check out this new article on Flyer that covers the full spectrum of our tech, from our electric aircraft propulsion systems to our recently launched WaveFlyer.

09.01.2022 Our CEO, Richard Charlton, is a licensed pilot and regularly flies our Pipistrel Alpha Electro over Perth and Rottnest Island. Richard is able to apply #aviation expertise to his executive leadership of our team, and to the rapid development of our cutting-edge #electric technology. Our forthcoming Electro.Aero light electric propulsion system is a 100% electric propulsion system designed to revolutionise the #lightaircraft industry.... #electricflight #electricaviation

08.01.2022 Electro.Aero Graduate Engineer, Alex Gates, is undertaking detailed CAD work on our Electro.Aero light electric propulsion system for light aircraft. A recent graduate from Curtin University, Alex's immediate challenge is optimising the component weight vs structural integrity, where keeping to a weight budget is always the limiting factor in aviation! We recently installed a high-performance managed IT system courtesy of local Perth company Next Phaze, allowing our engineers to undertake advanced CAD and CFD modelling for our next-generation technology. #electricaircraft #electricflight

05.01.2022 Electro.Aero Digital Designer, Naomi Gunton, has been awarded the Curtin University VC List Award twice for achieving the top 1% of grades. Naomi is designing avionics user interfaces for our Electro.Aero light electric propulsion systems for light aircraft. Naomi is also able to apply fourteen years’ experience in communications to website design and graphic design for Electro.Aero. Congratulations on your academic achievements, Naomi. #UI #UX #avionics #electricflight #electricaircraft

05.01.2022 Thanks to all of our team for our recent wins and multiple world firsts!

01.01.2022 Electro.Aero Test Engineer, Ryan Cooper, is designing the testing program for our new range of electric ducted fans. Promising revolutionary efficiency, safety and quietness for light aircraft, the ducted fans are a component of our Electro.Aero light electric propulsion system. Ryan is shown here in front of our new test chamber which will be used for endurance testing of the ducted fans. Ryan is an aerospace engineering graduate from UNSW, and previously completed a six months internship at Airbus Helicopters in Germany. #electricflight #electricaviation #aerospaceengineering
