25.01.2022 Brilliant turn out today at Bibra Lake for Black Dog on a Lead Inc . Sausage sizzle was kept busy after the walk Great to see so many young people attending such an important event. All lives matter RUOK .

21.01.2022 Good morning everyone. This morning Cockburn Central Ward has a new Councillor in Tom Widenbar. .. Congratulations to Tom and his wife Jessica. Myself and Gary Allen and Georgina Tagliaferri all polled strongly, but Tom came out in front. Congrats to all other winning candidates. Thank you to all those that voted for and supported me, it ... won’t be forgotten. Thanks to my wife Jean for her support and patience.. Thanks to my son Graham who gave up the rugby and came and scrutineered for me. I enjoyed my time campaigning and will still be around helping in the community where I can. Once again ...THANK YOU EVERYONE..

21.01.2022 Invited by Liam to meet and mingle with the cricketers last night at the Phoenix Park Cricket Club in Coolbellup. Spent a very sociable two hours with the players. Chatting with Michael the club president about their second cricket pitch at Beeliar reserve. Also the planned upgrade of the Beeliar club rooms. Myself and Tom Widenbar delivered a presentation.

18.01.2022 ‘Paint a Tree Blue’. was a project by Cockburn Council to highlight ‘Beyond Blue’ and ‘Mental Health Awareness’ week. Great morning spent with like minded friends painting down at Bibra Lake. Great coffee provided by The Pink Flamingo Coffee van

14.01.2022 Back to school tomorrow for our students. This is a reminder to all parents who are taking children to school, walking or driving, please be alert and aware around school drop off zones. One of the danger spots which I believe requires installation of traffic lights or similar method is the T junction at Beeliar and Dunraven Road. Another congested area is the Cul de Sac end of Yangebup Rd at the Dunraven roundabout, there are 3 schools within 100 meters where extra care is needed. If I make it on Council I will try and get this done. Your vote is still important for me, please vote if you haven’t done so already.Thank you.

12.01.2022 Another busy morning yesterday strolling the streets of Cockburn delivering my flyers to those that hadn’t received them. Lots of very interesting conversations along the way. Nice to hear that people do love living in Cockburn. What a better way to finish the morning off, than with a nice pot of tea and a bacon sandwich in the cafe at Cooby shops.

04.01.2022 Attended the Yangebup Progress Association meeting on Tuesday evening. Very productive meeting enabling us to move forward with the planning of the Halloween and Xmas events. Other important discussions were had and will be ongoing. Unfortunately I had to miss the Bibra Lake Residents Association meeting which was held on the same evening. Apologies to the committee for my absence.
