20.01.2022 All lessons & squads still on today despite the rain!

19.01.2022 Thanks to all those swimmers who attended our Starts & Turns Clinic at Coorparoo pool on Sunday. It was a fantastic turn out! Coaches Ben, Nick, Jack & Simon were on pool deck helping over 40 swimmers perfect their dives, tumble turns and touch turns during the 2 hour session and were very impressed with the effort put in by all. We hope these swimmers apply the skills they have learnt to their upcoming swimming carnivals and trials over the next few weeks.... We are planning to hold another clinic in the next 6 weeks or so. 18.01.2022 Over the last couple of weekends our finest senior athletes hit the water for the Senior Mets Champs and National Prep Meet. Our representatives that qualified for the Senior Mets meet included Emily S (14), Emily S-S (14), Tahlia H (14) and Saxon S (13). The Emily duo were like synchronised swimmers both competing in the 50 and 100 freestyle and both swimming times of 31 and 1.09 equalling their PB times....Continue reading

10.01.2022 COVID Lockdown Changes MONDAY 29th MARCH COORPAROO... Learn to Swim Lessons 3.15pm, 3.45pm & 4.15pm timeslots will run as per usual. 4.45pm & 5.15pm lessons cancelled. Squads Development - 3.15pm to 4pm - normal Bronze & Silver - 3.15pm to 3.45pm land then 3.45pm to 4.45pm swim Gold - Ben will advise via teamapp HOLLAND PARK & MARSHALL ROAD Learn to Swim Lessons 3.15pm, 3.45pm & 4.15pm timeslots will run as per usual. 4.45pm & 5.15pm lessons cancelled. Squads Development - 3.15pm to 4pm - normal Bronze & Silver - 3.45pm to 4.45pm swim All cancelled lessons will receive a credit towards holiday program or term 2 bookings. 07.01.2022 * Monday 22nd March * All lessons & squads still ON today

07.01.2022 Day 1 Heats - Nationals Age Champs! What a start to the meet with Tahlia swimming in the 200 IM, in the first event and first heat of the meet. Swimming in lane 0 Tahlia utilised her nerves and excitement to produce a PB swim of 2.27.8, almost a 3sec PB. This also improved her ranking from 25th to 8th, qualifying her for the final. Not bad in her the first race of the meet and her first nationals. Saxon joined Tahlia in the 100 fly for his event of the meet, Tahlia was first... up swimming another PB of 1.04.66 down from 1.05.33. This again improved her ranking from 18th to 11th, just missing the final by 0.04 of a second. Almost 2 from 2. Saxon was up next swimming a well executed race but finished just outside his PB time, swimming a time of 1.03.43. Day 1 - Finals Swimming from lane 8 this time, in her first final she showed impressive composure to put together another great swim. Tahlia equaled her first 100m splits from the morning, but then put in an awesome second 100m effort to PB by another 3 seconds. Swimming a time of 2.24.66 and improving her ranking to an impressive 5th. Fantastic effort and one the Element Team and all its supporters are very proud of. A day off today but both swimmers will return on Friday for the 100m free and Tahlia will also have the 200fly. Watch this space! Pic taken in the 200 IM final
