15.01.2022 Introducing our 2021 staff... Jodie Thornton is a dance and specialist Acrobatics coach with 10+ years experience. She has an Acrobatic Arts Certification and is one of the most sought-after Acrobatics teachers in Melbourne. Jodie is an established performer who has entertained all over the world. After training at Patrick Studios Australia, she then worked on the Norwegian Sun Cruise ship as a Dancer/Singer. Her highlighted performing moments include dancing alongside Todd... McKenney in ‘The Boy From Oz’ at The State Theatre, ‘Broadway Gala’ China tour, ‘Hey Hey, It's Saturday’, dancing at the Australian Open, Melbourne United basketball, and ‘Dancing with the Stars’. She performs in many shows and bands throughout Australia and internationally as a professional singer. She is currently the manager and choreographer of ‘SOS The Australian ABBA Tribute Show’ among other shows that she has created and choreographed. She is looking forward to having another great year with the students at Elevation Performing Arts!
