25.01.2022 Another Ringtail baby that needed some help. This little one was uninjured but orphaned, so after some rehydration and a snack he was on his way to a foster carer

24.01.2022 Hazel visited Dr Lee recently for a snuffly nose. This was her first visit to our clinic, and she was very relaxed and curious, sniffing and exploring every bit of the table!

21.01.2022 Almost every day we get asked if we have any kittens for adoption, and we still have none! ...however check out these gorgeous little ones looking for homes at Save A Dog Scheme

20.01.2022 A big welcome to our wonderful new ERVH trainee vet nurse Phaelin. Phaelin has several years of experience in animal handling and helps to care for her menagerie of pets at home and many foster/rescue animals. She's pictured here with one of our little Japanese quail.

19.01.2022 Molly had her first visit to the clinic after being recently adopted. She had a thorough exam and also had a blood sample taken to test for heartworm. She was an absolute star of a patient, she was so gentle and trusting, taking a new environment and new people all in her stride. Her background is not known for sure, but our guess is Kelpie x Beagle. She certainly has the intelligence of a Kelpie, and the desire for food of a Beagle. Clearly she thought her photo session went for too long, and took it into her own paws to get the treat above the camera

18.01.2022 Meet Fergus Fergus is an adventurous 2 year old boy who went out on the 20th of December and didn't come home... His distraught mum walked the streets searching and calling his name for the past few weeks to no avail...then today she received the best possible phone call from the council. Fergus had been found stuck in someone's courtyard, unfortunately with no access to food or water for at least the past 3 days. He was brought straight into the clinic by the ranger for a... checkup and to be reunited with his mum. He's lost a large amount of weight (about 1.5kg), and is mildly dehydrated, but luckily he is uninjured. After some subcutaneous fluids and food, he was given the all clear to head home. It was heartwarming to see him reunited with his mum, he was purring, headbutting and rolling around in excitement! We think she is in for lots of cuddles in the coming days! This serves as a fantastic reminder to make sure your pet is microchipped, and also that your contact details are up to date. Had Fergus not been microchipped, or had the details been incorrect, he would have ended up at the council pound in an unfamiliar cage tonight, but rather, he is tucked up safe and comfy in his own home. We hope his exploration days are over and that he sticks close to home from now on!

13.01.2022 Meet some of the wonderful vets and nurses from Soundiagnosis- Sylvana, Divina and Phoebe. Soundiagnosis are a group of vets and nurses with extra training in ultrasonography who visit our clinic when we need them to help us diagnose diseases. They are amazingly gentle with our patients and very skilled at doing ultrasounds. https://www.facebook.com/Soundiagnos/posts/2964339000466104 Our ERVH vets Emma and Nicole are also able to perform emergency and less detailed ultrasounds too.
