07.01.2022 Hola Amigos, A quick update to say we are registered as a NSW Covid safe business. Bathurst has been for the most part been pretty lucky. The rules that the NSW govt have implemented are in place for a reason. This seems like a good time to review the rules for dining out: 1. Table size 20 to 10... 2. 1 person per 4m2 remains 3. 1.5m between tables remains 4. Communal items are a no no, e.g. condiments, salt and pepper shakers etc. 5. Menus need to be laminated and sanitised between use or disposed of (single use). So much for the environment! 6. Hand sanitising is a must (well that is just good sense) 7. We are back to all patrons having to register/sign in 8. Be seated when drinking (boo!!!!!) Breaches of any of these can mean a fine of $11K for the venue and the customer. Yeah so it is tough..... Some people continue to not turn up for their booking, give staff a hard time when told to sit down and in a recent incident took menus from a dirty table. So remember, we all want to have, "nice things" I.e. go out and have dinner so let's all do the right thing. Remember, "Don't be a dick"!! Turn up for your booking and comply to the regulations!!!
