25.01.2022 **UPDATE** A very big thankyou to all of our volunteers that helped out today and especially Michelle who organised it. We are very lucky to have you! There wer...e 20 volunteers, including Div 12 Candidates Tony Latter and Trevor Lewis- leading from the front! 6 bags of rubbish, 1 bag of recycling collected as well as 5 tyres.....one wonders where the rest of the car is.... ELIMBAH Clean Up Party will once again be headed up by our local Tuckshop legend Michelle Lederhose on Sunday, 1st March, 2020. Come on down and say Hi and maybe lend a hand between 7.30am & 9am. Meeting at Elimbah State School bus bays. Don't forget your hat, water and gloves if you have them.

We've used the time to slow down, recharge, reset & reassess what is importan...t and necessary to maintain a balanced life. I think we would all agree that its easy to take the simple things for granted, the most fundamental being, Human Contact & Connection. "You don't know what you've got until it's gone" as the saying goes. SO GREAT NEWS : the Queensland Government has lifted restrictions on Remedial Massage therapy so we will be reopening the clinic on the Tuesday 5th May. There are still strict guidelines in place to ensure the wellbeing of you the client and us as therapists. Therefore in order to ensure the continued wellbeing of all and adhere to these guidelines we will be changing how we operate. * Only one therapist at a time will be working in the clinic. This is to ensure the social distancing guidlines can be upheld. There can only be 2 people in the clinic at the one time ( client and therapist). * Unfortunately we are not able to see clients who are in the high risk category. *In order to maintain the strict hygiene guidelines set out by Qld Health & the relevant associations appointment times will be spaced out to allow full change of linen and disinfecting of all surfaces between clients. * We will need to screen clients when booking appointments to ensure you have no flu or flu like symptoms or have been overseas, or had contact with anyone who has been overseas recently. We also ask that you sign and date confirmation of this when you come in for your appointment. ****** TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WE ASK THAT YOU PHONE THE CLINIC( 54328812) AND LEAVE A MESSAGE RATHER THAN USING FACEBOOK MESSENGER. Elimbah Uniting Church invites you and yours to a pre event sausage sizzle and stay for supper and a chat. When: Sunday 1st December, 2019, from 5pm. Where: Elimbah Soldiers Memorial Hall, Coronation Dr, Elimbah. Cost: A gold coin donation is requested. Proceeds will be donated to Elimbah State Schools Chaplaincy Program.
