22.01.2022 Client Spotlight Meet Jamie. Jamie is an online client who is currently in her 4th of training with me. In 4 weeks she has lost 2.7kgs, and 8.5cms across 5 sites She has spent almost two of those weeks in quarantine, with limited equipment. To say I’m proud is an understatement! ... Jamie was already training before coming to me, so what changes did we make? We put her on a program to ensure that she is progressing every week! I set her a 10k step target, and we made some slight food adjustments, to ensure she was getting enough protein to help her muscles recover but also ensure she was fuelling her body with nutrients. I’m so excited to see what we can achieve together, I gave her the tools and she put then in place and now this is the smallest she has been a long time - awesome work girl! 21.01.2022 TRAINING PROGRAMS What are they and what are the benefits? A training program is tied to a specific goal. It is personalised for an individual and their goals. It’s a time of period that you follow the same workouts that requires continual progressive overload, with the intention of increasing muscle mass, strength, speed or skills. Your probably thinking, but I go to the gym and exercise, why do I need a program? Going to the gym and doing a different workout everyday, ...different weights, or that HIIT workout you found on Instagram - isn’t training. This is simply just exercising. Exercise is great for your general health, and well-being whilst increasing calories you burn through the day, but it’s the possible reason you aren’t achieving your goals, or feeling frustrated that your body hasn’t changed. So do you have to follow a training program? If you have a strength or body composition goal a training program will best benefit you! It will ensure you are overloading and progressing, to best help you get stronger, or as most ladies call it toned. 18.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS I hope you all have an amazing Christmas, get to spend it with your loved ones and enjoy all you Christmas food Favourites! I know I will I just want to thank all of my clients for trusting me and allowing me to apart of their fitness journeys! Honestly I am so proud of all work my clients have put in day and night, and how far all of them have come. For some it’s just as simple as showing up to the gym, for others it’s an amazing transformation, a weigh...t loss goal, or building muscle. Either way, I could not be any prouder of how far they come since working with me, but also for allowing me to help! Because of you guys I get to do what I love, and that honestly just fills my heart with happiness so thank you, I love and appreciate you all! Enjoy yourselves - you’ve earned it, and do what makes you happy! If that’s not tracking, do it. If it is tracking, do it. As long as you are happy, do it - and don’t feel guilty for it! 17.01.2022 Protein French Toast This has been my go lately for when I’m craving something sweet for breakfast! Let me know if you give it a go! Recipe;... 1. 2x pieces of bread - I use country split bread as it’s the most macro friendly 2. 180mls of egg whites 3. 10grams cinnamon sugar 4. Fit lato ice cream - swipe to see the one I used - it’s biscof meets Kit Kat gold 5. Queens sugar free maple syrup Method; 1. Soak bread in the egg whites until all absorbed 2. Place bread in heated pan and sprinkle cinnamon on top 3. Turn over once cooked 4. Remove from pan, serve with your ice cream, maple syrup and other toppings! 5. Enjoy!! Macros; 33g protein, 6g fat, 36g carbs

A day off, or even a week off isn’t going to ruin your progress, or mean you need to make up for it the following week. Just like making progress - it doesn’t happen in one night and takes consistency, therefor it can’t be undone in one day either Do not punish yourself now and do extra cardio, extra gym session, steal calories from other days, or just not eat! It doesn’t matter what you do occasionally, it matters what you do CONSISTENTLY Simply get back on track, and focus on what you can do for the next 364 days! 2021 is coming in hot and I’m ready for it, ARE YOU?

05.01.2022 Warming up and core activation! Warming up is not just a stroll on the treadmill or a sprint on the row. It doesn’t need to be long, however it does need to be effective and efficient. My personal go to warm up for leg day is;... 1. ACTIVATE MY GLUTES- this is very important especially for when you are going to be training them. Strong glutes play a vital role in reducing your chance of injury and having strong glutes muscles can prevent serious injuries to your knees, lower back and hamstrings. Not only this but if they are not activated properly before training them, chances are other muscle groups are going to take over, and you aren’t going to target them the way you want too. 2. ACTIVATE MY CORE- the importance of bracing core and activating your abdominal muscles before and during a lift (especially compound) is often overlooked. Having a strong core is going to ensure that when you are performing the movement your form isn’t going to suffer and it will also protect you from risk of injuries (aka help protect your back) Take the time to warm up properly! It’s going to benefit your training so much to ensure your muscles are working as they should, and help your recovery and reduce risk of injuries! Be smart, and take care of yourself. Don’t just jump straight into working sets

This movement is the perfect exercises to targe...t your glute’s and hamstrings! Key points; Don’t arch your back! Soft knees - this is not a squat movement! Only come as far as you feel the stretch in the back of your legs Brace your core! keep your chest up, shoulders back. Think pushing your hips back towards the wall, and chest over! keep your knees turned out! Tune in next week for another Technique Tuesday!
