20.01.2022 BFM Squid Scoops/Nets These nets are hand stitched into a perfect bag shape. The net itself is heavy enough not to cause issues with drag in the water but heavy enough to last . ... The poles and frames are made from 1.6mm aluminium pipe which makes them that little bit stronger but still light enough to use with ease . Poles can be customized to just about any length. The nets are approx 60cm deep and mounted on hoop 45cm long and 40cm wide . Prices start @ $40.00 for a net replacement , which we can either supply or fit for you at no extra cost . Prices for a full complete standard squid scoop/net as shown start at $60.00 . During 2020 we will also be making a larger squid scoop/net with a 50cmx60cm hoop .

18.01.2022 100gram Powder Coated Belly Up Wog Heads . A speacial purpose trolling wog head made to fit the gar's head profile . The Belly Up is an upside down trolling head that makes the gar more visable and helps mimick a wounded gar which triggers a greater bite response .... The Belly Up is a straight runner suited for shotgun right out the back or stop and drop over deep sitting fish . The Belly Up Wog Head passed commercial testing last year catching Spanish Mackerel ' it out caught standard wog heads and proved that Belly Up is Better !. Fluorescent Pink shown .

16.01.2022 Lab test report for the BFM Green Squid Light . The light produced from a BFM Green Light is solid green the contain very little of any other color spectrum . What this means in real terms is that this particular light produces more penetrative light .... Other lights such as poor quality green light and whites light contain other spectrum's that are diffused in the water ... meaning rather than the light travelling to depth the light is scattered in all directions . This doesn't mean that other lights that diffuse light do not work because they do , they are just no where as effective . We have tested the majority of single color spectrum's including high brightness white lights and an interesting twin color light with varying results . Of all the lights that is suppose to be the best fishing light which is blue it can be also the worst light to use ..... having attracted life in abundance some of the time . This could have something to do with too much ultra violet mixed in ?? White lights work better than blue having attracted abundance in life most of the time but light is scattered in all directions which tends to make the bait fish and squid jumpy or skittish most of the time .... having a dimmer to tone down the light does help calm things down. Pure green works just as well as bright white lights having attracted life in abundance most of the time and the light does not seem to agitate the life it attracts as much as other light types seem to do ... i can only put this down to due the fact that the green light that is produces does not scatter in all directions , instead the light travels out over a much broader area and to depth . The pure green light is also much easier on the eye of the user as the the light does not bounce back into your eyes no where as much as lights that scatter in all directions including up .

12.01.2022 Water testing the Buffalo Marine Squid Lights ...Green

10.01.2022 I wanted to get these out late last year but i wanted to make more improvements and make these fishing lights even better than what you can see here in the Video . These are made using ultra high efficiency leds strip lights and before you think of the common cheap ebay strip light think again . As these Led strips are UL Listed and stamped .... "UL is a world leader in product safety testing and certification." and all of this just for a 12/24volt device . As i said i did want to get these out there late last year but i keep coming up with design and operating improvements that cause me to constantly second guess myself .... that's research and developement for you . Anyway here is a look at what i think will be the brightest and dedicated fully dimable 12/24v fishing light that not quite yet ready .
