24.01.2022 Well what can we say other than we are absoulety devastated as from midday today we have had to close Elizabeth Bowland due to the PM's announcement last night. You guys are our family and we are going to all miss you terribly.. Hopefully in the near future we will be able to re open once these bans are lifted.. ... As for bookings etc unfortunately for the minute they have to be cancelled as we aren't sure of a re opening date. Please stay safe and a huge thankyou to everyone who has supported us.. love to you all xxx

24.01.2022 Family and Friends of Elizabeth Bowland We finally have the green light to open Elizabeth Bowlands doors.. I'm so excited to let you all know we will be opening on Monday the 1st of June at 12pm and we are very much looking forward to seeing you all again...... **** PLEASE TAKE NOTE **** There are a few important things to make this happen... - ALL bookings must be pre booked over the phone on 82520488.. NO WALK INS! - Front entrance will be locked and when you arrive for your booking you will be required to call to advise that you have arrived for your booking - Max of 20 people in the centre at any given time - Strictly NO spectators allowed - Social distancing rules WILL apply - Extra cleaning of centre and equipment will be carried out throughout the day - Discount vouchers and league free game vouchers CANNOT be used at this time (Once capacity restrictions have been lifted you will again be able to use these, extensions on expiry dates will be granted) I'm sure most of Elizabeth Bowland league bowlers are wondering when league will start. We will make an announcement soon once the restrictions have eased.. We know how keen everyone is to get back to league.. 19.01.2022 Elizabeth Bowland family With restrictions easing tomorrow the 1st of December we are happy to announce we are able to open our doors back up again. Please take note that there will be some restrictions coming into the centre.. ... Elizabeth Bowland will be using the QR code system to sign in. YOU MUST SIGN IN UPON ENTRY!!! ALL staff and Elizabeth Bowlands Covid Marshals will be able to help if you are having any issues but please we are asking you all to do the right thing and sign in when entering the centre. As for spectators we are asking for the moment to please keep them to a minimum... LATE OWLS LEAGUE PLEASE NO SPECTATORS. (Already at high numbers due to league being 5 man teams) Any social booking that are made we will need exact numbers attending the centre. Please when you are calling to book lanes we will need confirmed numbers. Yes this includes Carers and Babies. Elizabeth Bowland would appreciate people wearing masks when entering The centre but no it isn't compulsory. Alcohol MUST be consumed while you are seated Yes Leagues will be starting back up this week. Northern ladies will be our first league back tomorrow morning. Followed by our Penny Pinchers and Pin splitters leagues tomorrow night. Tomorrow night's league will NOT be allowed to have any spectators unfortunately due to our Covid capacity rules... There will be no exceptions on this rule..... 12.01.2022 Great News All Elizabeth Bowland league bowlers I'm excited to announce that as of the 22nd of June we are back running leagues... From the 19th of June we are able to have up to 75 people in the centre.. ... Most leagues are under the 75 capacity apart from Friday night Late Owls.. with this league we ask you to help by NOT bringing any spectators!!! For other leagues (Monday and Tuesday Nights) We ask you if there is a league running before your league starts to please wait out in the car Park until the first league has left.. Elizabeth Bowland needs everyone's help and understanding to make this work and to be fair on everyone.. ***I'm asking that ALL league bowlers from all leagues to please inbox or call the centre to confirm your places in your teams*** I'm sure there's lots of questions.. Please comment, inbox or call the centre if you have any concerns... For those who are wondering.. Yes!! we will be starting a new Season .. Yes!! we will be paying out places from last season.. 03.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE. To our valued customers.. Elizabeth Bowland will continue to trade.. The government has put in place that we are not allowed to have more than 100 people in the centre at one time... ... During our league play we do not go over capacity in saying this we ask that ALL bowlers who can do not bring in spectators to help keep us under capacity... If you wish you are more than welcome to pre bowl but please contact the centre to find a suitable time... Unfortunately with the seriousness of the covid-19 and safety of others Elizabeth Bowland have Cancelled our Betty Johnson Tournament.. Any social bookings that are made please inform us of numbers attending Elizabeth Bowland including Spectators. This will help us keep the centre under capacity and avoid any disappointment. Please be assured that the welfare of our customers and staff are a high priority which means our high standards of cleanliness has heightened again during this period to make sure we are all safe. - hand sanitising facilities are now available. - Alcohol Wipes are available on arrival and on request throughout your visit. - Benches, Tables, Countertops, Door Handles etc are being regularly disinfected. - All bowling balls including finger holes are being cleaned after each use. All bowling shoes are being sprayed with antibacterial spray when returned.. Lastly I would like to thank everyone who has supported Elizabeth Bowland during this time.
