22.01.2022 I learned all sorts of interesting things at Dalby project x today. And thanks to everyone for contributing to a beautiful piece of art

22.01.2022 'Hibiscus' 2014 silk painting.

21.01.2022 One box of stretched, stapled canvases. 40 canvases per box, 20 staples per canvas equals 800 staples. So far I've finished 3 boxes.... Only 10 more boxes to go!!!

20.01.2022 Look what I've been up to! Art workshops at Dalby state school. Every student has coloured up to three pieces of fabric- 1574 squares of fabric torn, washed twice, coloured and sorted! My house is not my own!

19.01.2022 Have decided I need to get over my Facebook snobbery, if only to promote my paintings!

15.01.2022 At the Jandowae timbertown festival Saturday and Sunday doing DIY silk scarf workshops. Come and see my display and have a go yourself!

15.01.2022 The picnic is packed and ready for my niece, the birthday girl! Two sandwiches and a picnic mat in their own basket.

14.01.2022 The DSS exhibition opening was great! It was lovely to see the kids so excited about their artworks and have the band and choir contribute to the event. I was presented with these for the efforts I put in to get the exhibition ready. Very nice. Will post more photos when I get them.

12.01.2022 'Negative Moth' 2014 Currently hanging o my first solo exhibition in Cunnamulla

11.01.2022 Have had a massive week, hanging 500 plus artworks from the kids at Dalby State School at Gallery 107 Dalby! It looks great. Check it out if you can and see what the clever kids have done. The exhibition is open till the 26th of June

11.01.2022 'Bright Tulip' Silk painting completed 2014

10.01.2022 'Neuron Galaxy' is my latest painting. It's being entered in the Western Downs regional exhibition that opens on the 11th September in Chinchilla

10.01.2022 My stall set up at the Jandowae timbertown festival in the memorial hall. Come and have a look!

10.01.2022 Anyone for a sandwich? Today's menu is hand painted lettuce, tomato and swiss cheese on white bread. Not very tasty, but I'm quite pleased with the end result

09.01.2022 I still don't have any pictures from Friday night's opening, but here's what the gallery looks like all set up. Much better in reality, but this gives you a bit of an idea of how many artworks we got completed with the kids at Dalby State School!

09.01.2022 Elliott Graetz won the curator's young artist encouragement award at the Connections exhibition in Chinchilla. It's the first time he's entered an exhibition and he's walked away with prize money and all! Pictured here with the exhibition judge and curator Sandy Pottinger

07.01.2022 Sandy Pottinger, judge and curator of the Connections exhibition in Chinchilla and me with my second place winning artwork, 'Stained Glass'.

03.01.2022 Elliott decided he wanted to be a calculator for his class Eisteddfod item.... Apparently Mum can do anything! After finishing in the gallery Thursday night, the calculator happened by about 11pm. He complained it still smelled in the morning, but the paint was dry. What's a bit of a paint high if you end up being the character you requested to be?! I never knew there was a calculator in toy story?... Live and learn!
