22.01.2022 Just a yarn abt GOING UP on the SCALES So, for this caption ~ I’m not talking about going up 10kgs over 12 months etc, I’m talking the ups from one big weekend. So for past week or so, i have been cooking myself bigger portions of heavier type food ie: burgers, curries, pizza, toasties/breads etc. These foods WONT MAKE YOU FAT alone, so don’t get me wrong here. BUT it could slow your digestion ~ eating too big portions does that to me (not necessarily what i eat, just too... much of anything). This week was busy so i just felt hungrier - so i ate more. (Also fine). My point is: I generally sit around 70-71kgs easily (on the Herbalife maintenance program), can eat alot, not really exercise & not gain weight! (After being 126kgs personally thats amazing to me too haha) BUT after a slow digestion week, i weighed in ONLY YESTERDAY at 74kgs. I didnt fret, beat myself up, restrict or even think twice. I knew it was just food in my tum. So i smashed more boom juice & more aloe & water yesterday - went to the bathroom 4x before lunch. Guess what, woke up 71kgs again. The POINT IS: you cannot get FAT overnight & if u go up and down a few kilos that is FINE. You havent undone work, you probably havent even gained FAT, it’s probably just a matter of cutting back on sugars/preserved foods/alcohol & SMASHING BOOM JUICE & water - ull be fine!!!!! YOU CANT GAIN 3kgs of fat in one day! So be kind to yourself, take it easy, if your on a weight loss journey, weigh in WEEKLY OR LESS (monthly) - if you are weighing daily your setting yourself up every single day for stress & anxiety over something that naturally fluctuates. Food. Poop. Monthlies. Water. Not enough water. Muscle. Etc etc so many variables. Just do better every day & you HAVE GOT THIS!

As long as its FAST. Thankfully this mix is designed for both. Once covid is over After the holidays There will likely never be a time where you feel like you have spare time or space. Because guess what? Something else always pops up. 09.01.2022 So after losing almost 60kgs & keeping it off - i get asked pretty much EVERYDAY in private about loose skin. Will i get it. How do you deal. What did you do. Whats the point? If im going to end up with loose skin? Etc etc [SWIPE] So i just want to share with u guys something that HELPED ME get out of the detrimental mind loop about what loose skin/stretchmarks look like....... It was NEVER about looks for me. I wanted to be trim, sure, do i feel more comfortable at a h...ealthy weight? OF COURSE. Do clothes fit better? Absolutely! Do i feel more confident? OF COURSE! But that wasnt my main focus, it was HEALTH for me!!!! I wanted to be WELL. I wanted to give my mental health the best chance. I wanted to move easily. I wanted to pick up my kids & chuck em in the air. I wanted to take them to the beach & not die. (From 2 things, walking on sand = physically dead & wearing bathers = emotionally dead). I wanted to have ENERGY. I wanted to have clear skin & i wanted to not die early. This is harsh to hear when your very overweight, but its true. I wanted to live a long, happy and healthy life & i didnt want to be in pain and/or sick for most of it. It hurts even typing it because this was my future if i didnt change, so FROM ME TO YOU: Change!!!!! Focus on your HEALTH & how much your body needs you to do this, not about whether or not your skin will sag. Because saggy skin never killed anyone, but diet related health conditions kill ALOT of ppl 56kgs lost (probs more) & HEALTHY. Thats what matters xxxx love me

04.01.2022 PAN FRIED QUESADILLA This was DELISH!!!! It was soooo tasty and sooo healthy! Hehe !! Its dairy free, meat free, gluten free, OIL FREE, processed crapola FREE! Haha!! Perfect for you clients on your weight loss plan & its the kind of meal that makes you forget your even trying to be healthier ... RECIPE: Quickly fry up some chilli tofu & kidney beans with a splash of passata, cumin, soy sauce & garlic powder. Set aside. The. grab a smallish tortilla slice 1/4 open, on one quarter pop the tofu mix, the next quarter pop some sweet corn and grated carrot, on the next quarter pop some finely chopped capsicum & finely chopped vegan feta (not much, just a little works perfectly), then on the last quarter pop some spinach, avocado & a tbsp of coconut yogurt. Then add a few bits of fresh coriander over all of it & then start the fold. Fold one quarter inwards at a time until all folded in a triangle shape. Then heat up a non-stick pan with NO OIL on a low/medium heat, place your traingle shaped quesadilla on the pan & place a heavy grill plate on top or even a big glass salad bowl. Something to weigh it down. Then wait 1 minute or until you hear it crisping hehe & flip. Serve with fresh coriander, a big squeeze of lime & chilli flakes. I swear this was soooo easy, soooo yum & on POINT nutritionally !

02.01.2022 TOFU LAKSA I have no words, this is the kind of meal you wish your stomach was bigger so you could keep eating. Why is it over? INGREDIENTS 1 jar of vegan laksa paste from @turbanchopsticks // for my local friendssss i got it from @dunsboroughgrowers ... 400mls of organic coconut cream 3 cups of organic veggie stock 2 potatoes (cubed) 375gm block firm tofu (sliced & dry fried) 1 head of broccoli (chopped) 2 carrots (chopped) 1/2 zucchini (chopped roughly) 1 head of pak choy 2 serves of @hakubaku_official organic udon noodles Fried onion, coriander & mint to top METHOD Pre dry fry the tofu slices on a hot pan, no oil, flip once when crispy. Set aside. Heat the wok to medium heat, fry off the curry paste at medium heat for 2-3 minutes, add coconut milk, the stock, the potatoes & carrots. Bring to boil, then turn down & simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are cooked. Meanwhile, boil udon noodles as per packet instructions. Chuck in all the tofu & veggies except for the pak choy into the wok. Cook for a few mins, then chuck the pak choy in in the last 1-2 minutes max! Then pour over cooked noodles, top with fried onions, fresh coriander & mint. Add a splash of soy sauce & a big squeeze of fresh lime. LEGIT SO SIMPLE - yet soooooooo divine. ENJOY
