25.01.2022 How are you? This a question that most of us are asked daily and sometimes it feels like we're expected to just say "I'm fine" - even if we're not. I was surprised to learn that recently, some of my front office staff have been treated poorly either in person or over the phone, and it breaks my heart that their devotion to good patient care means they brush aside the abuse and continue to smile for the next person in need. 2020 has been an unusual year and trust me, I reall...y do understand that the burden of stress + anxiety may sometimes be unleashed onto others in the form of anger or frustration. My little team works hard everyday to maintain the highest level of care for our patients, and I value their mental health as much as I value yours. Please understand that my front desk staff are real people too, and though they will continue to look after your dental needs, their mental health is also affected when you vent your stress and anxiety at them. This is the same for all health services, and also extends to all industries handling customer care. I'd like to thank all my wonderful patients who take the time to appreciate and compliment my staff - sometimes your positive words are just what they need to hear after a stressful day.
