23.01.2022 I spy some of my quilting fabrics for @hansenprintandtex ! @wifemade is a serious quilting superstar: the work in these just blows my mind and I am so excited that theyre with @eva_and_tissy : cant think of anyone better to have photographed them than the glorious Nina! Repost: I'd say it's a good sign when your photographer receives your parcel and five minutes later sends you this! ... Lockdown life is hitting some of us Aussies pretty hard at the moment and Nina from @eva_and_tissy is right in the middle of it in Melbourne, Victoria Glad I was able to take her mind off it for a while with two enormous parcels of quilt samples to photograph! And then she won a print from @katequinnart in a giveaway that I tagged her in! Lucky !!! Our Queensland borders are closed again and thankfully we haven't had any new cases for a little while... but the fact is closed borders means no income for a lot of Queenslanders and my thoughts are with those whose lives and livelihoods have been impacted. We're heading to Noosa for a much needed break at the end of the term (2.5 years since our last holiday!) and I'm looking forward to supporting some local businesses during our time away! 14.01.2022 How pretty are cables?! #saidnooneever Sometimes it feels like my iPhone is listening to my conversations. It's a running joke between my husband and I that I'm jealous of his bluetooth headphones as I sit tethered to my phone by my ugly cords. 08.01.2022 Told you I’d be wearing this outfit everyday. But today was my birthday and I could think of nothing brighter or more comfortable or fabulous and so POSY it was! My brother raced up from South Australia (skidded across the NSW border in the nick of time ), my sister and Mum and brother conspired to create a ripper birthday afternoon and my family gave me a sleep-in and let me read books in bed and took me out for sushi and ice cream.
