25.01.2022 It was so great to have Pastor David visit us on Sunday at Church. I loved his message and took heaps of notes. One of the reasons that I love to hear from and read the bible is that we can see how God works in different situations and has done this throughout history. The message was from Jeremiah in Chapter 29 and 30. Here are the main points, but I’ll add my extra notes below in case you are keen! ... ‘The Way of the Exile’ 1. Serve where you are situated. Jer 29:4-7 2. Tell yourself only the truth. Jer 29:8-10. 3. Reach for your responsive God. He is not a removed or a rigid God. Jer 29: 12-14 The truth is that we waste a lot of time doing things that aren’t useful. We have plans that aren’t always what God wants. Jer 29:11 talks about God’s plans. God’s agenda is one of hope. Build these principles on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Chapter 23: 5-6. Thanks Pastor David! ~Stacey Ps. 23.01.2022 We are back in the Community Centre this Sunday. It is exciting to once again be meeting together. Our service will be at 10am. Naturally, Covid precautions will be in place. This will mean that we need to maintain social distancing and only 20 people will be able to be in the building at one time. Stacey has volunteered to take a children's program outside so that we are able to keep under 20 inside. If you are feeling unwell please remain at home and we will pray for you and record the service so you don't miss out. See you Sunday! *Please note that we cannot share morning tea with the restrictions in place- so no food and drink will be provided.

22.01.2022 This coming Friday the 5th of February, we are having a meet and greet for any parents and kids who might be interested in checking out our new Youth Group that is going to be held on Friday Nights for the Elliot Springs, Nome and Alligator Creek Communities. This is open to all High School aged young people from Years' 7-12. We'd love you to come and say hi for something to eat and a drink so we can introduce ourselves. Our regular program will begin on the 12th of Februa...ry, we will advertise our program regularly on this page. We are experienced Youth Leaders, and loyal Townsvillians who love life and sharing our passion for faith and fun with young people. If you have any questions, give me a call to chat. GLS will be available online this year through our church from 9-4pm, this coming Saturday- the 10th of October. 08.01.2022 'Churches That Heal' is an all-new, digital resource designed to equip pastors and churches to handle issues of mental health in their communities created by Psychologist Dr. Henry Cloud. This 6 week small group study starts this Wednesday 7th of October from 7:30-8:30pm. This session will be run online as well if you would like to participate via zoom.
