24.01.2022 We now have new 3D printing capabilities allowing low volume production of many of our parts which were once cost-prohibitive. We have the capacity for outside work if there are any requests. The S5 has a build capacity of 330x240x300, and we have a range of materials including carbon fibre filled nylon which is very impressive. It can even do metallic parts, after sending off for post-processing.

23.01.2022 Just completed Trial Plot Air Seeder with up to 9 rows at 2.25m sowing width. This one comes with two Ellworx cone seeders 300mm, and 450mm, two 60lt hoppers, a Liquid Systems VRS, and Smallaire gear for air distribution. Fully customisable

21.01.2022 Seeding on relatively flat ground. These seeders have customised suspension allowing for accurate seeding on 20-degree batters.

20.01.2022 This is our recently commissioned seed drum which will allow us to optimise seeding rate in-house while getting a visual on mixing at the same time.

18.01.2022 One of three new mine seeders being shipped out. This one is self powered and controlled from the Dozer cabin with engine, seed, and fertiliser meter speed display. Wireless video display of seed and fertiliser feed also provided.

16.01.2022 The Ellworx Trial Plot Air Seeder TPAS has finally been put to use despite the lack of rain. The CSIRO gave it a baptism of fire in very hard ground in Merredin and as you can see from one video the tynes were breaking out regularly. Overall, the seeder worked well with a large number of plots being sown to a variety of crops and pasture legumes at various rates. The second video reveals the use of the seeding cones. 9 row and 5 row plots were sown.

12.01.2022 The latest Ellworx mine seeder heading out to aid in the revegetation of mine sites. This one will be going onto a D8 dozer. The seeder is designed to accurately meter a large range of seed sizes and densities from very fluffy seeds to hard seeds as shown. Four chambers in the drum allow for 4 different seed mixes to be applied concurrently.

11.01.2022 The variation in Australian native seed size, shape, and density never ceases to amaze. Some of this variation can be seen in the pics below. This makes metering at a prescribed rate for revegetation very challenging. Our mine seeders have a drum which rotates between 20 and 30 rpm. The drum has four chambers to accommodate a large range of seeds from very fluffy to hard, dense, and very small. We offer at least 3 different drum outlet arrangements to cater for the different seeds, and the two large chambers contain agitators to reduce settling.

07.01.2022 Ellworx is heading to Wagin Woolarama on the 9-10 March to promote the AGR800 grain fermenter. These are built specifically for Hin-Gees Australia. Hin-Gees Australia produce livestock nutrition for use in the AGR800. A batch will be fermenting at Wagin for you to inspect. Drop in to say hello and have a look. We'll be on site 664.

07.01.2022 We have just delivered a mine seeder to BHP and have another one ready to ship out next week. We have made improvements to the suspension and incorporated our own 200mm fertiliser meter to better suit our seeder. It has a slide for simple rate adjustment.
