24.01.2022 Love this chart! This is why so many people choose an elopement <3 If you know anyone who wants to get married without the stress of 'who to invite' - ELOPE!! I have the perfect set up for the couple and 8 of their favourite people!

22.01.2022 YAAAYYY ELOPEMENT AVENUE .... (pity at the time of print the previous name was still standing) Aaaannndddd, apart from a tiny little rule about people being separated by 2m, they are the absolute life saver of all those people who have had to postpone their wedding.... I'd be happy to chat to anyone who is devastated over their wedding plans affected at this very difficult time. <3

22.01.2022 Loving this backdrop? I know many couples have had to postpone or in some cases cancel their weddings ... How disappointing is it? But there's always a positive side - and if getting married is your priority (and having the big celebration later), then we can still make this happen. We need one clear calendar month, identification and were on our way! Woop woop!... Elopement Avenue has 4 styling options for you to choose from. This is our Circh Arch backdrop. Isn't it pretty?

21.01.2022 Anniversary Picnic Yaaaayyy ... today Todd and I have been married for 31 years. 11,315 days. We usually go away overnight somewhere nice but with Rona, we are stuck at home. So we decided to do a verandah picnic! Todd did the shopping, I created a little romantic space then we put together our grazing board. It was so much fun and so relaxing. We had blankets close by to keep us warm and the photobook of our trip to Japan arrived today so we relived our awesome trip. We laughed a lot and talked non stop like best friends do.

20.01.2022 THE MASKED BRIDE & GROOM I love it when people surprise me. When Mindy and Joh were trying to organise their elopement, the date had to change a few times to fit in with current restrictions. (Please note this was a few weeks ago). When mask wearing became mandatory, they didn't bat and eyelid - absolutely they said - we'd love to go ahead Lisa if you're happy to! How easy going is that?... We had masks, sanitiser and a perfect July day. I was so happy for them. At the end of the day, what was important to them is that they were married. . . . . #elopement #tinywedding #miniwedding #microwedding #affordablewedding #partyoffive #melbourneelopement #dandenongrangescelebrant #yarravalleycelebrant #elopeathome #engaged #postponedweddingoption #yesillmarryyou

20.01.2022 FIONA + ADAM (and Ebony!) This little trio were due to get married in Queensland just as all our restrictions hit. It was really important for Fiona and Adam to have his daughter, Ebony, at their wedding so once our restrictions lifted, they got married here, at Elopement Avenue! When you break it down and strip a wedding back to the basics, what do you really need?... 1. Your closest people 2. An intimate, memorable ceremony 3. A pretty location 4. A fabulous celebrant who understands your need to keep it simple! Elopements, quite simply, are the bomb!

16.01.2022 || SOCIAL DISTANCING || Hey lovers, I hope you are all well. I just thought I'd have a little chat about social distancing and the wedding industry.... Our new rule is that a ceremony can go ahead as long as there are no more than the necessary 5 people in attendance. What does that look like for you? So your standard 5 people would be the couple, their two witnesses and their celebrant. Many people are confused as to whether this type of ceremony can still go ahead because it may be viewed as unnecessary social interaction. At this point, until we are in lockdown, ceremonies like this can still proceed. It is sometimes a necessity that people can still get married at this difficult and challenging time. If your witnesses are over the age of 18, one of them could be your photographer if you wish to have it documented this way. But it's 5 people in total - max! No more. But you can facetime, skype or zoom anyone in so they can be present! Simple. But if you want additional people there and think they can just stand at a distance, think again my friends. Your celebrant can be fined $20,000 for breaking this rule. Please contact me if you are wanting to discuss any of the above points and I'll happily talk you through it. This was my couple from last week who facetimed the bride's father in from Canada. And we still had fun whilst keeping our distance. Stay safe people <3

15.01.2022 WELL DONE VICTORIA The talented @paulabrennan It seems this type of social distancing may be a thing of the past! We've been so diligent that soon, we'll be able to meet in a cafe and sit at the same table. I can't wait! The bubbles will be flowing. ... . . . #clientmeetings #face2face #newlyengagedcouple #zoommeeting #melbournecafes #letsdolunch #isolife #illdrinktothat #cantwait #dandenongrangeswedding #forestwedding #simplewedding #shortwedding See more

11.01.2022 IF ONLY THE PHOTO WAS A LITTLE MORE TO THE RIGHT Hello dog lovers! This elopement for Ben and Sarah took place a few weeks ago. Just 5 people in attendance and one dog. We were at a reserve and Didi was just taking in all the good smells whilst we got on with the important things. I know you can only see part of her but she came along and decided that this was the best spot for a lady pooch to do a wee.... As you can see, I thought it was bloody funny and I was clicking away on my phone that was set up on my tripod. But when I viewed them, Didi was mostly out of shot - except for this one. So enjoy - hope it brings a smile to your face and all the very best for Ben and Sarah <3 <3 <3 See more

10.01.2022 ELOPEMENTS ARE IN Ok, it's tough at the moment. Let's face it, the past 4 months have affected all of us - some more than others. Above all, I'm grateful for my health. Many of you who have been planning your wedding day for some time, now find that your larger wedding cannot take place. It must be disappointing and stressful.... If you had your heart set on getting married (and celebrate with family and friends at a later date), then ELOPE! Sometimes stripping everything back can have more meaning. If your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is completed and lodged with your celebrant for more than one month - you're good to go! If your super-lovely celebrant is unable to help, I'm happy to step in. Or if you're thinking, Lisa, can you marry the heck out of us quick smart, get your NOIM to me and we're on our way!!! . . . #elope #elopedandenongranges #elopementwedding #melbournecelebrant #melbourneelopement #letsgetmarried #letselope #yesillmarryyou #partyoffive #pickapark #beautifuldandenongranges #funcelebrant #justdoit

10.01.2022 WHY DO COUPLES ELOPE? Meet Lucia and Ashley. I married them a few weeks ago before our new restrictions came back in. You'll notice we were very good at social distancing! We got married on their back verandah with just their two witnesses and me. The date was special to both Lucia and Ashley as it was the 20th anniversary of their first date.... People choose to elope for a number of reasons and as much as I love a big wedding, I adore elopements. Firstly, they're stripped back. It's a real 'just us' experience that gives you the opportunity to focus on what's important to you. The ceremony becomes the highlight of your day, rather than the party or celebration. At a time where larger weddings are on the back burner and we're not sure when restrictions will allow larger numbers, have you thought about eloping? I know this is super hard on couples who have had to postpone weddings that they have been planning for some time. The disappointment must be difficult. But just know that this situation WILL improve and although life may always be a little different, it will get better. So if you don't want to wait, if the two of you want to get married now (with one calendar months notice), we can do it. Or if you just need a chat and want to run through some ideas, I'm happy to help.

05.01.2022 CHARLOTTE RICHARD The Simple Ceremony was the perfect option for Charlotte and Richard when they married recently. They have big families on both sides and the invitation list was going to be huge, as well as expensive. So they decided to marry quietly and then throw an 'engagement' party in a few months time. That way, they could celebrate with everyone and it would cost the earth! Congrats on your lovely day and I do hope to hear from Jasmine and Benjamin when it's their turn ...

04.01.2022 WHO NEEDS DIAMONDS? What a beautiful engagement and wedder set! I adore this colour and now that elopements are back on, I'm hoping to see more newly engaged couples coming through. Save on your ceremony and spend your money on the things that matter to you. . .... . . #engagementring #weddingringsets #elopenowpartylater #partyoffive #colouredengagementring #engagement #bedifferent #2020weddingtrends See more

02.01.2022 SIRI HARLAN When you want an intimate ceremony with just two of your most favourite people there to witness your wedding, Luxe Elopements can make that happen. Siri and Harlan chose to marry on our greystone veranda right here in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Surrounded by greenery and boho luxe styling, they said their vows to each other on a magnificent sun-shiney day! If this sounds like your kind of wedding, we can make it happen with just one calendar month's noti...ce. Wishing you both a wonderful life together when your little one joins the family in April. xx
