23.01.2022 It’s almost 2021 which means it’s almost time for our Annual Summer Holiday Workshop. Our Summer Holiday Workshop is always a hit and we can wait to do it all over again this year. During our workshop students get to take classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, vocal group, cheerelading, acrobatics and contemporary/lyrical. They also get to make new friends, meet the teachers and get a feel for what classes they like best before term 1 commences. ... 23.01.2022 With 2020 almost over we are now taking enrolments for term 1 2021, a bigger and better year for all of us at ELS School of Dance. I understand that it is a crazy time of year, however I highly recommend enroling now to secure your or your child's spot. We do anticipate that classes will fill up fast now that we are able to get back to some sort of normal, so get in quick to avoid disappointment. All classes are capped at 12. I am offering you, our current ELS famili...es, priority enrolment until the end of term, the 12th of December, to make sure you and your students get their first pick of classes. 05.01.2022 We are excited to be welcoming Miss Caitlin into our dancing family in the new year. Caitlin is an Adelaide born, Melbourne based dance teacher and performer. Caitlin began dancing at the age of 3 and has not looked back since. Throughout her school years she began teaching for her school and assistant teaching for her recreational dance school. At the age of 18, Caitlin moved to Melbourne at the start of 2019 to further pursue her dance career at Kelly Aykers Fulltime Danc...e. A few of Caitlins career highlights thus far has been working with Impact Entertainment, performing at the Crown Casino, and working with Showtime Attractions as a suit performer. Caitlins amateur musical theatre highlights have included playing Victoria in Cats the musical with Stage School Australia and being in the dance ensemble and dance captain for her recreational dance schools one week tour onboard the Ovation of the Seas with Royal Caribbean Cruises . Caitlin possesses an ATOD Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, as well as a first aid certificate involving anaphylaxis, asthma and CPR training. In 2021 Caitlin is beginning her Bachelor of Primary Education with University of Tasmania. She looks forward to meeting our students and sharing her passion for dance with us all.
