16.01.2022 In light of everything that’s been going on, I was completely blown away when a beautiful human contacted me to order a bunch of flowers not just for her own Nana who is at the Gisborne Oaks Nursing home, but for every single resident there which is 79 beautiful humans. I reached out to our local Macedon Primary school kids & some other families in our community who over the weekend left jars, wrote letters and created art work to be accompanied with every single flower arra...ngement. I was able to support and use all local blooms from @therookblooms & @sohorosefarm which in the current climate is so important for our struggling industry rn. Yesterday I dropped these off to the wonderful staff at Oaks who were absolutely blown away. I can tell you I have shed some tears over the past weeks but yesterdays were for all the right things. Flowers really do bring joy to peoples lives & connect people, yesterday was the perfect example of that. See more
