24.01.2022 The Victorian Branch of AHAA is holding its State Championship Show on the weekend of 14 and 15th March 2015 at the Tatura Equestrian Centre. the program is attached and can be obtained by emailing me on [email protected]. Entries close Wednesday 25 February 2015 but entries by email and eft payment will be accepted up until 12noon on Friday 27 February 2015

22.01.2022 Big weekend at National Buckskin Titles and All Breeds Show at Bendigo. El Shanador Whispa Gold did well for her third outing on Saturday and brought home the ribbons on Sunday with her half brother, El Shanador Rapidez Alce Elegante. Both came first in their respective part bred classes but she snuck in and took the Champion part bred Ribbon from him, leaving to bring home Reserve Champion. Sorry no photos at this stage.

22.01.2022 Dear all there is a slight error in our AHAA Victorian Championships Show Program with the open ridden classes being 147,176, 185 and 187 as these should read "under 15hh" not "14.3hh and under" as otherwise a horse/pony over 14.3hh but under 15hh would have no class. 21.01.2022 Bit slow in getting up to speed with results from our babies achievements at the AHAA State Championships but heres a few happy snaps of some of the placings of the El Shanador babies being El Shanador Whispa Gold, Colour Me Crazy and Colour Me Picasso . Dora and Petey did not want to dress up with all their ribbons but Teddy as usual - the show off! these guys just keep on giving -alway so reliable and are magic

21.01.2022 I note the comments regarding our National Show and I am rather surprised and disappointment by same. For years I entered the Royal Melbourne Horse Show and other big shows via online entries which required uploads and found it the best policy as you know straight away once you have completed it, your entries are in not lost in post . Up until last year the entries were manual and aside from providing your ambulance membership this year for us to hold in the case of an accide...nt, nothing has changed as the upload documents are the same documents competitors must provide every year with their entries. I work 12 hours + per days on 6-7 days per week so I am doing the best I can to get this show on the road with the help of my fellow committee members and there is only 4 of us so I find the comments offensive as anyone having problems can simply telephone nominate and the girls will walk you through it. On different note we are more than happy for people to put their hands and go on our committee so you can volunteer to process all the paper work and organisation required for shows etc and help us promote the baroque horse breeds. In short come if you wish because even if its a small show I intend to have fun in any event. Thank you to all those competitors who have supported us so far with our shows and now nominate we the committee really appreciate it. See more

16.01.2022 We hope everyone had a great weekend at the Vic State Championships. All four of our babies did very well with not only significant placings but bringing home champion and higher award ribbons. A testament to their sires good looks and nature and lets not forgot the mares that put these guys on the ground. A special mention for our 2 year filly, El Shanador Besos De Mariposa, who hopped in the float for the first time, travelled 4.5hours to Tatura and spent a weekend in the stables totally unfussed and then won the ESTOFA PRECIOSA JUNIOR MEMORIAL for best junior part bred. Show results will be released shortly but please support our photographer Paula Markey and take the time to visit her on Facebook to see the photographs taken at the State Championships which are available for purchase.

07.01.2022 For all you who have been dragging your feet as to whether to bring your horse/s to our state championships opportunity has now come knocking. Entries so far are excellent but we have a big venue to fill and we the committe want meet more members and horses. Please consider the weekend to Tatura as we endeavour to make it a fun and friendly show where even beginners can feel at home as we all have start somewhere. If showing attire is holding you back dont let it as black pan...ts and a good shirt, hat and gloves will did it with bridle and a clean horse as after all we, baroque horse people, have the best of the showing would - no need for platting as this a show for full manes and tails. We the committee would love to see you there on 19 and 20 March 2016 and so to help you over the line, I am happy to extend entries by email until 8.00pm on Sunday next, 6 March 2016 and please dont let me down or yourself.
