25.01.2022 We'll get a decent Xmas photo one of these years...

25.01.2022 Its amazing how far little Link has come since starting him a few months ago. This was a straight forward session after a few weeks off, just getting him to balance/keep the sheep on me. Despite being firm when the jobs on, youll notice a complete lack of yelling/screaming, in fact nothing but positive reinforcement. One of the reasons he can do this at 9 months old.

24.01.2022 Yoshi: no we havent been running around the deck covered in mud which were not allowed to Also Yoshi: How beautiful are my mud manicured nails?!

17.01.2022 URGENT - pair of very chilled BCs (Xander + Bonnie) looking for a new home. Theyre great with kids, cats and other dogs. All they want to do is hangout and never try to escape, even when gates are left open!

14.01.2022 Well get a decent Xmas photo one of these years...

14.01.2022 Hi all, its getting seriously hot in Qld. On days like these: please take 5 mins to hang out wherever your dogs are and then imagine putting on a jumper and not being able to sweat to cool yourself down. If you take your dogs for a walk please wear thongs so you can test how hot the paths/concrete etc are with your own feet first, before your dogs burn theirs. If you see pets being kept outside in backyards with no shade, call the RSPCA. Their owners arent nice people who h...avent thought about their dogs. Theyre assholes. Finally, dont forget to give them a small meal/snack before you leave for work or in the middle of the day if possible - with all the water they drink in this heat, dogs salt/electrolyte levels can imbalance which can cause cramping and particularly affects older dogs. A little bit of raw meat can go a long way :) Have a great weekend!

13.01.2022 Were looking for a companion for this happy girl. Tons of land to explore, a dam, geese, cat and fantastic owners. Ideally an older female Kelpie around Bris. Any referrals pls pm us :)

11.01.2022 (Owner found). Lost cream Kelpie, 0410 757526. Have contacted the council with her tag#.

08.01.2022 Links sisters (x6) have recently arrived from great working parents. Theyre not expensive but the owners will be picky to make sure they go to good homes (ideally to working families). Great to not be advertising rescues for once!

07.01.2022 Casey is up for adoption at BFR, is just awesome.

07.01.2022 Rescued pup: Im an injured puppy mum, I can get away with murder. Yoshi: F*** you you little sh**, no more toys if youre going to behave like that and if you dont pull your head in itll be no more dinner. This is why Kelpies are better at raising Kelpies than we are, and why you dont take pups from their mums until 8-12 weeks minimum.

06.01.2022 One v happy rehomed BC!

05.01.2022 80% of our rescues are less than 12 months old and from homes that can no longer handle them. This, is why were strict on interviews and home inspections. "But you have 2 very well behaved Kelpies in a medium sized backyard". Yes, I also train them 6 days a week, every week and get them out on cattle/sheep on weekends doing what theyre built for. Its not your Kelpies fault, its yours.

05.01.2022 Hi all, 2 great pups needing new homes. Pls contact Alex directly and let us know if you need help with training, support etc. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10216917674512009&id=1169810363

05.01.2022 Look at the size of those paws! They were born 10.07.2017, 2 red tri colour, 3 black tri colour and 1 black with white. PM for details and well put you in touch directly with the owners!

05.01.2022 2 homes available at the moment! 1. A 5+ yo experienced working Kelpie to a great young family home on a cattle farm in northern NSW, and 2. A border collie pup for 10 acres to grow up with a family with 4 young kids primarily as a companion, who will look at a pair.

05.01.2022 Hi all, have a bit of an emergency case. Trying to find a home for possibly the most adorable Kelpie girl weve had in a long time. Heres Daisys deets: Daisy is an absolute sweetheart who loves hanging out with her human. Shes incredibly calm and relaxed for a Kelpie. Shes naturally curious and loves exploring, but prefers just hanging out ideally watching David Attenborough documentaries wherever possible.... Daisy came to us with little formal training but has responded amazingly quickly. In a very short amount of time (days) she learned to sit, wait (off-leash) on a spot for up to 10 minutes while we go inside and do something else, out (of a room or doorway), and up. Shes very eager to please and doesnt need to be taught anything twice. While Daisy loves the outdoors, she doesnt need huge amounts of exercise or running and responds far better to spending a lot of time with her owner. Shed suit either an owner who she can spend her days with, or a home with a well fenced backyard and another dog to hang out with. Shes not suited to being left in small backyards or entirely by herself during the day. Shes fine with other dogs, cats, chooks and has started training in public off leash which shes doing very well at. Daisy grew up on a large farm where she helped out where she could, but isnt trained to work on livestock. Shes far more of a companion and is looking for a new family she can spend the rest of her life with. Details: Name: Daisy Breed: Kelpie Age: 3 Sex: F Weight: 18kg Desexed: y Microchipped: y Vaccinated: y Wormed: y Cat Friendly: y Dog Friendly: y Child Friendly: y Fence type required: 6ft+ Location: Aspley/Scarborough

04.01.2022 2 EK rescues, now doing it extremely tough...

04.01.2022 Yoshi (left) protecting her little brother Link (right). Standard.

04.01.2022 (Rehomed!) This is Jet. Jets spent the last 2 months personally varnishing my timber floors and now that hes toilet trained is ready for a new home. He was rescued from a horrible situation and is ridiculously relaxed for a Kelpie - no matter how many dogs are running around him hell just sit on your ankle doing what you do. He needs another well trained kelpie/similar for company or a person with him 24/7, and is available now. Well only accept applications from indoors homes where he can be part of the family. Hes been trained to become a service dog and while his position has been cancelled, hes at the standard required. One of the best pups weve trained in a long time.

04.01.2022 Does anyone recognise this dog??

03.01.2022 After so many years in Army the eldest knows exactly what it means when I start packing these bags. Now after 2 years out and without thinking, I pulled them out to stow some stuff and Yoshis beside herself. Cant get her out the bag, best I can get is a couple of whimpers before she curls back up. Hate to think what shell go through when I leave for work tomorrow, will def be coming home during lunch even if its for a minute!
