21.01.2022 Three months ago I would have come up with an excuse not to read. Something like, oh I don’t have time to read or there’s nothing I am interested in. But look at me now loving this book ... The road less travelled by M. Scott Peck - the classic work on relationships, spiritual growth and life’s meaning -

21.01.2022 I am grateful for my grandparents. It came to a time where, my beautiful grandparents were put in the position to sell their beautiful property. My Nan and Pop moved to NSW 32 years ago. ... My Pop had a huge contract to move from Victoria to NSW to run and manage a rural abattoirs. Both my grandparents worked extremely hard throughout their lives. They did not have it as easy as most of us have it today. Nan used to hand wash all of her laundry but, she saved every penny to buy herself a washing machine when they became more accessible. Both grandparents worked all of their lives, often one would work nights and the other days - just to be able to live a comfortable life and to provide for their family. It has been a tough weekend leaving the family home. I am so grateful to have been able to grow up in such a beautiful place.

14.01.2022 I know that people reach out for help and it is often not received I know that people genuinely offer help - but can they always follow through? Simply put - no. ... People mean well, they really do. People who love you have good intentions they really do. But at the end of the day - when you really need help - it is you that needs to to help you first. People can only help so much. Even if their intention is to help you with everything. They can’t always help. You need to figure out for yourself how to help you. Because when the people you lean on need to help themselves - they can’t help you. What a funny word help is.. and how dependant we can be upon it.

02.01.2022 I have been feeling down a lot lately - with everything going on in the world - my community and my own personal life. It’s only normal to feel up and down when the world we live in is consistently up and down. It’s ok to not be ok. ... We are all in this together. Smile at a stranger - do a good deed - have a nap.
