25.01.2022 So my youngest mask wearer in the Embellish’d family turned 8 today! Given we are in stage 4 lockdown here in VIC, I have spent the day 100% with him making it extra special (and he also banned me from my sewing machine today )! I might sneak onto the machine after he heads to bed, otherwise will get on to all your amazing orders tomorrow to get them out on Monday!

23.01.2022 This gorgeous mask order went out yesterday! I just love the selection! I have sent out SO many orders and in my rush to get them out the door as quick as I can, I haven’t taken many photos. I am so appreciative of each and every order that comes in and love that people have come back for more up to 4 times! 22.01.2022 I may be quiet on the socials but flat out at Embellish’d HQ. Lots of mask orders coming through with kids finally back at school! I myself have been homeschooling my 2 kids for the majority of the last 6 months and it was great to send them back to school this week and get some jobs on my to-do list done! Here’s just one of the orders that went out this week!

21.01.2022 I have been posting about face masks a lot recently but they aren’t the only things I make! Here’s a school accessories order I sent out this week. 21.01.2022 New fabrics are here which means more masks for you to choose from! Favourite mini florals have been restocked for the 3rd and final time as I can’t get more of that fabric and they are joined by some other gorgeous prints and plain navy as requested by many. Lucky I sew masks because I want them all and now have quite a collection!! 20.01.2022 Some friendly mask reminders! As of Monday all Victorians must wear a fitted face mask as face shields, scarves and bandanas are no longer acceptable. Also with many kids finally able to get back to school, don’t forget all children 12yrs+ must be wearing a mask. I have plenty of black and navy masks available if you prefer something plainer and have a very quick turn around time on orders. Make sure you (and your face!) are properly covered!

20.01.2022 Today the Victorian premier announced that scarves, bandanas and face shields are no longer sufficient or allowed on their own and a face mask that covers your nose and mouth must be used. We have you covered!! Lots of prints to choose from on the website including some last ones on sale and I am still upgrading postage to express! We can do this Melbourne!

17.01.2022 What a busy weekend with Father’s Day and a birthday in our house, but I still got over 50 masks made and donated to the healthcare workers at one of our major hospitals. This has really been a passion project of mine from the start and just feel it’s so important to be giving back to all the beautiful people working so hard to keep Melbourne safe. My beautiful daughter felt inspired by what I am doing and also made 100 origami hearts and wrote a note of thanks on every single heart which will be handed out tomorrow. More than ever we need to support each other. Together we can do this Melbourne

16.01.2022 A gorgeous order packed full with liberty scrunchies went out today! If you are like me and getting a head start on Christmas shopping, these make a perfect addition to Christmas stockings or as a little gift in a diy advent calendar. Only about 85 days to go to the big day!

16.01.2022 So don’t tell my husband, but my fabric stash has actually grown since lockdown But when I see fabrics this pretty, I just can’t resist. At sunset tonight I saw the most beautiful rainbow so I think it’s a sign of better things on the horizon and together we can get through this Australia! Masks are here to stay for quite a while so why not look amazing and stylish while staying safe!

14.01.2022 When I made my 1st mask 3 weeks ago as a challenge to myself to make the safest mask I possibly could as something to do while stood down from my day job due to covid, I never could have imagined what it would turn into! In the last 3 weeks we have seen masks become mandatory in VIC and I have been blown away by the love for my masks! I have made literally hundreds of masks and have orders daily for many more needed all around Australia. While stage 4 restrictions are making it trickier, I am still sewing your orders and nothing will keep me from getting them out to you! I’m still upgrading to express post and posting daily but there may be some delays as Aust Post distribution centres in VIC are busy. Thank you thank you thank you again for your support! I appreciate ALL of you!

13.01.2022 Lots of orders coming in this weekend for masks as we prepare for kids to go back to school in VIC tomorrow! Don’t forget children 12 years and over need to be wearing a mask. Have you got masks ready for onsite learning from the 12th? If you prefer something plain to match uniforms, I have black and navy listed on the website. 08.01.2022 I haven’t posted much lately as I’m recovering from a long school term of remote learning with my 2 kids and now filling the days on school holidays. Can’t wait for restrictions to hopefully relax a little soon! Here’s one of the liberty mask orders that went out this week. 08.01.2022 I am a big believer in giving back. I am so thankful for all the mask orders I have received and have given away close to a hundred masks and still going! These were just some of the masks waiting for the nursing staff at a major Melbourne hospital as they turned up to their shift this morning. So very pleased to hear they loved them. Thank you to all our healthcare workers working so hard to keep us safe

04.01.2022 Spring is finally here after such a long and tough Winter. They say after the worst storms, the sun will shine again so here’s hoping the worst is behind us as case numbers fall and things look to be getting better here in vic. One thing that will be around for quite a while is masks with other states now recommending to use them and I have plenty to choose from. I am still upgrading post to express at no extra charge. We are all in this together
