22.01.2022 New gaming schedule for Emerald Hobbies. Gaming every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night from 5pm till 9pm (excluding public holidays). Wednesday night is Warhammer Wednesday. Bring your Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar army down and have a bash. Keep an eye out for Blood Bowl and Necromunda leagues in the future.... Thursday night is BYO games. Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, Warhammer, Risk, Catan, etc. If there's enough interest in a particular game, we may look at running a competitive games. Friday night is of course Friday Night Magic. Still only Commander/EDH games currently but with covid restrictions easing, we'll look at running constructed and sealed formats again. Speaking of covid, please do not attend any events if you have any symptoms of cold or flu (temperature, sore throat, breathing difficulty, etc). This is just the start for what we have planned. Down the track there will be Hobby Hangouts, Warhammer tournaments and much more. Hope to see you around the table!

02.01.2022 *Urgent Update Re: Games Workshop Preorders* Over the weekend we were given disappointing news by Games Workshop regarding the availability of new release products to independent stockists in Australia. Due to increased global popularity, demand and distribution chain delays, the availability of Games Workshop products in Australia is low. Since reopening after being in lockdown, Games Workshop have taken steps to make sure all independent stockists, or Local Gaming Stores (L...GS), have an even amount of access to their products. As another step, from this weekend, the allocation of new release products to your LGS will almost be nil so as many stores as possible have the opportunity to stock new releases on release day. Emerald Hobbies will still be listing Games Workshop preorders on our website every Saturday at Noon as normal. Unfortunately, those listings will have little to no stock available until we are able to reorder more the following week. Also, we will not be able to reserve or order in specific products for customers until Game Workshop are able to restock their Australian warehouse on a more reliable basis. The global pandemic has created some unforeseen circumstances. Who knew being stuck at home all the time would make the wargaming hobby, and Warhammer in particular, more popular and in demand than ever before? Emerald Hobbies loves the hobby and the shiny new toys Games Workshop brings out each week. We know you love the new toys as well.
