09.01.2022 MEET OUR INTRUCTOR - KRISTY CARTWRIGHT Head Instructor Kristy Cartwright started her training in Rhee Taekwondo. Receiving her 1st Dan in Taekwondo, Kristy decided to pursue a stricter and better martial arts. At KG martial arts academy, under the leadership of Sab Ba Nim Keffe Gozali, Kristy learned precise technique and how to teach a class. As for her strictness, well, you can thank Keffe Gozali for that as he was tough as nails on her. Moving back to Brisbane, Kristy we...nt on to train at Oden's Warriors, earning her 2nd and 3rd Dan within 4 years. Kristy then went on to train in Mauy Thai kickboxing at Iron Fist gym. Three years later Kristy received her black singlet in Mauy Thai. Next was Krav Maga training for 12 months. Kristy was invited to go to Israel and attempt her first black belt grading, completing her grading with high results.
