23.01.2022 This is Liegh catching up with Pan who he met 3 years ago when Pan was a bottle fed calf. Both have grown quite a bit since then! Pan now lives with Donna who spoils him with bananas and apples and loves him to bits! He's a very lucky moo cow.

19.01.2022 This is Grant having fun with the dogs down by the river! You could also be enjoying what our beautiful town and surrounds have to offer this Queens Birthday weekend 7th - 9th of June. A great time to get away with family and friends for the last long weekend before November. At the moment we still have all 4 flats available so be quick and get in early!

19.01.2022 A big thank-you to Fanny Lumsden and her band who played a wonderful gig at Jamieson last night. It was sooo fabulous, and everyone had the best time ever! Fanny and crew stayed with us here at Emerald Park.

17.01.2022 Two new babies being bottle fed, Candy and Herbie! We are looking forward to welcoming back our Melbourne visitors after the 9th of November. We have availability after the 10th of January for cabins 1&2 and cabin 4 is available from the 3rd of January. Due to covid cleaning changes l will only take bookings for 4 days or more during the holidays. Weekends are two nights minimum as usual, out of school holidays. Call soon to secure a cabin for the holidays!

17.01.2022 The chickens having beer grain and yoghurt for breakfast. Now if they could produce beer flavoured eggs that are good for you that would be a winner! Thinking of everyone in lockdown, hope to see you again soon when this is all over. Stay safe!

17.01.2022 Just been for a lovely walk with Maisy in the bush just out the back paddock. So pretty, quiet and peaceful, good for the soul! Hopefully when this covid stuff is over you can come and enjoy it to. Take care and stay safe! From all of us at the farm.

16.01.2022 When we took Maisy out tonight for a quick walk, what growled at us! Three possums sitting on a stump! Tried to get a closer photo, but up the tree they went. Hope the don't take a liking to my veggie patch!

16.01.2022 First baby born for spring calving, what a cutie but a bit camera shy. Lucky it wasn't born a few days ago with all that rain we had, beautiful sunshine today!

16.01.2022 I need more practice at videoing But it's a beautiful morning here on the farm, just heading out to do the feeding. After the rain the mist on the hills is amazing and the beautiful smell from the gum trees. Looking across to the vineyard, all the grapes have been picked. A busy few days and now the process of making into wine begins! Fortunately no smoke taint which is very lucky, many won't be able to make a vintage this year. Our little patch of Chardonnay Grapes are coming along nicely, a couple of years off wine yet. I will keep you posted with what's happening on the farm and hope to see you down the track when all is safe again, cheers Marion and Grant.

14.01.2022 We have been very busy harvesting the last few days! Veggies getting ready for the farmers market in Jamieson on the 7th .Dec.by the river from 3pm. Baling the hay and bringing it in. And beautiful flowers in the garden. We still have vacancies for the Xmas and new year holidays, so book now and come and join us on our farm for a bit of festive fun!

13.01.2022 Well this is something you don't see every day! Camels in Jamieson! John Elliott the camel man and his crew of camels and his trusty dog are walking from WA, QLD, VIC to Tassie. They are doing it to raise awareness of early detection of melanoma, and money for the 'Beard Season' . Google John the Camel man for more information and support him if you can.

10.01.2022 Just in case your wondering what we get up to here on the farm! This week we have been planting Chardonnay Grapes with John and Janene! Wait about 3yrs for the first bottle! Grant has also been experimenting putting bubbles in wine, yummo! I have also been planting out the veggie garden in the new beds that Grant made me. And we have a new calf that l am bottle rearing, its name is Chardy and she's so very cute! So why not come and enjoy the fun on the farm one weekend, we also have 3 cabins available on Cup Weekend and availability at Xmas New Year too!

08.01.2022 Today 2yrs ago our beautiful Maisy came to live with us! She has fitted in well as a family member and loves to greet everyone when they come to visit. She loves to roll over for a belly scratch from the kids and helped some kids to have confidence in dogs again.

03.01.2022 The sky looks like a storm is on its way! A little rain then sunshine but the clouds tell a different story! Just the beautiful, ever changing valley we live in! Just love it! Come and join us for a great weekend !

02.01.2022 A great day trip from Jamieson, just 1.5 hrs. To the King Valley wine region. Plenty to see on the way, at Tolmie visit Stringybark Creek, sight of Ned Kelly shooting of Mansfield Police. Just down the road at Powers Lookout, overlook the King Valley and High Country. Then descend down the hills to Whitfield where you can enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the Mountain View Hotel accompanied by local wines. Then from Cheshunt 13ks to the Paradise Falls, lovely drive on a country road through farmland. The falls are a 500m walk, some rocky steps on a gorgeous track, some level of fitness but well worth it. The falls are about 50m high and you can walk behind them cascading over your head as in photo. Then back to the King Valley enjoy the local award winning wineries.
