20.01.2022 Smelling gas is a red flag! If you smell gas in or around your home, first eliminate any ignition sources (flames and appliances) and then leave the area to call a licensed gasfitter. Interestingly, natural gas itself is actually colourless and odourless. The reason you can smell it is due to an additive called Mercaptan (also known as methanethiol) which is added to natural gas to make it easier to detect.

04.01.2022 A trees roots can be two to three times longer than the tree is tall. The bigger the tree, the deeper the roots will travel looking for nutrients and a small crack in a pipe is the perfect humid space to grow in.
