25.01.2022 Earlier this year, we were successful in obtaining the Regional Agricultural Shows Development Grant, receiving over $185 000.00 from the Federal Government to make some improvements to our show facilities. This is a three part project including lining and insulating our main HIA Pavilion, installing sound wiring across the showgrounds and installing solar panels to help with power requirements for all the users of the showgrounds. Thanks to Shamrock Building Constructions f...or completing part 1, the HIA is now fully lined and insulated, making it an awesome HUGE space for community events. We still have a few things to add but we can't believe the difference in it already. Many thanks to the Federal Government and Agricultural Shows Australia for making this opportunity available to Agricultural Shows. Ken O'Dowd MP was really impressed by our plans when he came to view our project. Lastly, thanks to Central Highlands Regional Council for your support of these upgrades, you may have seen that they have been busy upgrading the electrical systems around the grounds and together we are looking forward to holding our events there in 2021!
