24.01.2022 With the year quickly coming to an end, I like to thank everyone for their support throughout 2020, a year we will talk about for many years to come I believe. Currently due to family and work commitments, my Medic Service won't be available for any Events through the 2020/21 Christmas and New Year Festive Season. So I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. ... Please be safe out there on the roads if you are travelling to see family and friends, please be patient and consideration to other road users while driving/riding, your life is not worth the 30sec delay in a trip. Hope to see more of everyone in 2021. Cheers Grant EMFRMedic

21.01.2022 A nice morning drive up through the Blue Mountains for a 2hr Non Accredited Fire Extinguisher Training Session with one of my Lithgow Clients. Home bound now

21.01.2022 Good morning all. Nice cool overcast morning here at Berowa, 1 or 2 short light showers so far. 2hrs into the 2020 "Go 4 Broke" Charity Cycle Ride and 5 groups now on the road and Group 6 getting ready to mount up and depart Berowa.

21.01.2022 At Wollongong Harbour Lighthouse for, the finish of "Britney's Fundraiser Charity Cruise" Nice day out. . . . Now for lunch

19.01.2022 First Event since March, in Cessnock with the Meantal Crew Social Motorcycle Club for their 3rd Memorial Ride. Looking like a smaller attendance this year With COVID-19 in the mist.

19.01.2022 Nice to be recognised

19.01.2022 Brickie, then onto today's Cessnock Event

18.01.2022 Well a good turn-up for "Britney's Fundraiser Charity Cruise", close if not more then 100+ bikes with more still rolling as we get close to stand-up time. A beautiful day for a cruise down through the Royal National Park to Wollongong Harbour.

18.01.2022 Well that's another Mental Crew Memorial Ride done and dusted, and happy to report . . . no incidents. A big shoutout to Bo and the Crew for their hospitality shown to me, and Fuel & Tea money, most appreciated guys. Small turn up, which was a shame, but that has it's advantages. ... 130klm Event Kilometres and 620klm all up by myself, and I got to do the Putty Road on my way home, so an enjoyable Event.

15.01.2022 Last bit of prep for tomorrow's 2020 Go4Broke Charity Cycle Ride. Delayed by a month by COVID-19, 100 riders will start at 6am tomorrow morning riding the 180klm from Berowa to Broke via Wiseman Ferry, Spencer, Mangrove Mtn, Wollombi and finally the finish at Broke . . . raising approximately $60,000 in funds for Lifeline. 3rd year EMFR has supported Go4Broke, a long day but an enjoyable one.

14.01.2022 Well the bike is packed and ready for the ride to Cessnock this afternoon for tomorrow's 'Mental Crew Memorial Ride'. Been a while between events.

12.01.2022 Scary to think, people believe COVID-19 is a myth. Scary to think a large portion of people think this is a myth generated by our Governments, push the limits for their rights to gather in groups and walk the streets unchallenged. Shame so many incident people have lost their live when their are so many idiots who just don't care about the incident victoms... And we don't know as yet, what lasting health issues COVID-19 suffers will face in the years to come

12.01.2022 Shared Photo taken By "Lui Yeung" while cruising through the Royal National Park.

12.01.2022 Yep . . . You don't want to come off a motorcycle in some parts of NSW.

11.01.2022 I will admit, I like these guys more then spiders . . . will slow and stop to let one cross the road if I have the chance, but do give them a wide berth to avoid conflicts. This short video from Ross McGibbon is great watching and recommend spending the 20min to watch it, explains a lot about how snakes react to us and how we should react to them.

09.01.2022 Well pick-up Dad today after a 3 night stay in Hospital following the small heat wave up here last week. Us younger generation can ride out a couple days with the temperature up in the mid 40's, but for those up in their 80's, with less muscle tone and less body fat, means less fluid retention and greater chances of dehydration without them knowing, this capped with isolation meant Dad was bed ridden for 4 days suffering a lack of energy. When the temperatures hit the 40's, remember to keep an eye out for our older generation, their bodies don't react the same when they were in their 40's.

09.01.2022 Nearly out of Sydney. One little water opstical. But Good to see the Berowra Waters Ferry up and operating again. Next stop Cessnock

07.01.2022 Nice day for a drive out in the country side

06.01.2022 I did the Mental Crew Memorial Ride last Saturday, first Event back on the Bike since the 2020 Black Dog One Day Ride back in March. It was great to see 2 Mental Crew Members back on their bikes after last year’s ride that ended with a serious crash, resulting with 2 riders needing Ambulance Transportation to hospital. ‘P1’’ with a Dislocated Knee, and Fractured Femur, ‘P2 Fractured Tib/Fib, and P3 walking wounded with Minor Injuries, so 12 month on Great to see 2 of those m...Continue reading

05.01.2022 Group 6 gone, waiting on the last group 7 to get on the road

02.01.2022 Nice lighting display going on, probably also the reason behind our power outage here in Mungindi.

02.01.2022 Will out on the EMFRMedic Bike this coming Sunday in support of this Event. https://facebook.com/events/s/britneys-fundraiser-ride/298323688255534/?ti=cl

02.01.2022 Interesting read

02.01.2022 Well things on the event side has been quiet, so still time to play around and sort things on the Patrol. At School, in Adult Life, have always been told 'Don't play with power tools' well Lucky I wasn't playing. Self treatment for friction burn . . . not preferred, but it is one way to keep one's skills up.

01.01.2022 At the Event start of "Britney's Fundraiser Charity Cruise - Bikes and Cars" at Moorebank providing Medical Covarage. Australia's Toughest Bikes and One Down are coming together to host a charity cruise for little Britney that passed away suddenly a few weeks ago.

01.01.2022 A little side step . . . Box added to allow me to giving some of my time to Blood Bikes Australia.
